WRITTEN ANALYSIS AND COMMUNICATION An analysis report on the case “GEN Y IN THE WORKFORCE” Submitted to Prof. Madhusri Shrivastava Towards partial fulfillment of the Written Analysis and Communication Course, PGP Mumbai, IIM Indore, 2014-2016 Submitted by: Sumeet Baid (55) LETTER OF TRANSMITTAL Dear Ma’am, I am pleased to submit my analysis of the case “Gen Y in the Workforce” as my official submission towards the individual assignment component of the Written Analysis and Communication course. The report is structured as per the WAC framework which was shared with the batch and comprises my broad analytical perspective on the case along with a recommended course of action and a contingency plan. I have taken care towards preserving the neutrality of the report and would appreciate any constructive criticism and feedback. Sincerely, Sumeet Baid 2014PGPM055 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY Sarah and her team were in the middle of creating an extensive marketing campaign for promotions, advertising and branding plan for the next film in their famous Fire Force Five series. Sarah was more inclined towards traditional ways of marketing which included mainly TV ads and an aggressive print campaign while, Josh was more inclined toward campaigning online. The major criteria of evaluating the two ideas would be market reach, financial viability, supporting infrastructure and the expertise available. In my opinion, Sarah should follow an integrated approach. She should start integrating the online model with the existing one. Further steps should be taken based upon feedback and experience.
