The fresco's usually have images of important people or sexual content. The roads are still intact and prints from wagons can be still seen. “In Pompeii all is original: the tombs along the stone paved streets; the houses, with their frescoes - some with simple designs and gaudy colors, others more elegant and complex - which open onto shadowed arcades made precious by gardens in bloom and gushing fountains” (Salvatore, 2011, para.18). Pompeii is visited by 2.5 million people annually, making it one of Italy's most popular attractions. People from all across the world come to see this beautiful architectural site for many reasons.
It has its grand opening on May 20-23, 2010. It is located between the winery and the “Antler Hill Farm.” The name “Antler Hill Village” comes from Antler hill, the “fine high village.” It offers a lot of shopping and dining. And even sometimes there is also live entertainment for the visitors. The village is built on an area where many early Biltmore farm, diary, and forestry employees lived and socialized in the early 1900’s. (World book ency.)
Research of “Canary” The True Story Canary is a poem about the great jazz singer Billie Holiday. In the concluding pages we will look at Mrs. Dove, the poem “Canary” and Billie Holiday and Michael S. Harper whom the poem is dedicated. I will try to convey what Ms. Dove is trying to say not only about Billie but the deep rooted meanings of the words that have been written. The poet Rita Dove is probably one of the greatest writers of any generation, she served as Poet Laureate of the United States and also consultant to the Library of Congress from 1993 to 1995. The position of Poet Laureate means that she was appointed by the Librarian of Congress, this position is a great honor and it is intended to raise appreciation and awareness of poetry during his or her term, which runs from October to May http://www.loc.gov/poetry/about_laureate.html.
There were a lot of impressionism artists, who I knew such as Vincent van Gogh, Edgar Degas, Edouard Manet, Claude-Oscar Monet, and Auguste Rodin and their works, which were very famous. Among others I liked Degas’ works, because he drew very girlish and romantic at least in my eyesight. Especially, there are 4 works, which described dancer, appealed to me. This work name is Dancers in the Rotunda at the Paris Opera, 1895, Edgar Degas. It is attractive to me.

Light imagery is used prominently throughout the novel The Great Gatsby, especially in chapters 5 and 8. The romance between Gatsby and Daisy is a major theme throughout the novel and light is used frequently to display this. When Gatsby’s house “lit up like the world fair” and the light “felt unreal on the shrubbery”, it represents his wealth and how he wants to impress Daisy. Gatsby is also described as an “ecstatic patron of recurrent light” when he is talking to Daisy about the “twinkle bells of sunshine in the room”. Daisy is described as “gleaming like silver” which represents her wealth and she is a part of the “secret society to which she and Tom belonged” which shows how she is ‘above’ everyone.
