The Strengths Quest is a test that helps students, staff, and faculty achieve academic, career, and personal success (Strengths Quest). The test took about forty minutes and was about 120 questions about which way we would lean towards in a certain situation, it helps us to better understand our personality. Each question gave us twenty seconds to answer it going either way with strongly agreed, partly agree or neutral which was in the middle. This paper is going to be about my top five themes that I got from taking the test.

Whereas education during Jefferson’s era was, voluntary and he believed in teaching everyone the basics. Additionally, Jefferson believed that students in the elementary schools should read enough history “by appraising them of the past, will enable them to judge the future; it will avail them of the experience of other times and other nations; it will qualify them as judges of the actions and designs of men…”(S&S pg. 40). Whereas in today’s practice, elementary students receive about forty-five minutes of history a month until they enter 5th or 6th grade. In chapter three, the Quality of Teachers according to Horace Mann “the education and the quality of the state’s teachers was the inadequate preparation most teachers had received” (S&S pg.
Abstract Fonts can attract different kinds of attention, and also different levels of processing and memory. In this experiment we were particularly interested to see if font styles have any influence on people’s abilities to recall information with the three specific font styles we chose: normal (Times New Roman), all-capitalized and cursive. Our hypothesis was that it was much easier to remember something if the information appeared in the normal font. The participants were college students in a Cognitive Psychology course (N = 27). Each participant received a one-page fictional story and was then tested on recall of the important points covered in the story.

Online College Classes Compared To Traditional College Classes Everyone’s entitled to their own opinion in the ever ending traditional versus online education debate. Who should you listen to? When it comes to forming opinions about what’s right for you start with some proven facts, like these, courtesy of the 2010 Sloan Survey of Online Learning of more than 2,500 colleges and universities nationwide:Approximately 5.6 million students were enrolled in at least one online course in fall 2009 (I. Elaine Allen and Jeff Seaman). While both traditional and online education has its differences, they both offer a great way to acquire a better education. Attending class in person is beneficial because you have interaction with the instructor and other students.
4COM1040/6 - Models and Methods in Computer Science - Detailed feedback on in-class Test 3 How to use the table: Find your Student Registration Number under SRN There are two rows for each SRN: the top one has the answers you provided in the EDPAC sheet; the bottom one indicates whether your answer was correct If any of your answers could not be read by the machine, it was read by the marker and indicated in brackets. (M) means that you gave more than one answer On this occasion, no penalty was applied if an answer could not be read by the machine (note that this is not automatically the case!) The version of the test that you took (1-8) is in the column under Version The total number of correct answers you gave is under the heading Correct Your grade (out of 100) is under Mark (Grade = 3.33 x Correct or 100, whichever is the smallest) The Descriptor (eg "Very Good") and Classification ("eg "Upper 2nd Class) are in the column Descriptor; Classification Columns Q01 - Q35 indicate whether you have given the correct answer to questions 1 - 35 (1 means correct; 0 means incorrect) (Question 35 had an error in some versions, and everyone was give one point (or 3.33 marks) for that question, regardless of your actual answer) The percentage of students who gave the correct answer to a particular question is indicated above the table (labelled Percentage correct answers) Find the correct answers to the test questions in the files called "4COM1040-Test3-vX with solutions.pdf", where X is 1-8 Percentage correct answers Descriptor; Classification Good; Lower 2nd Class Marginal fail; Fail Marginal fail; Fail Good; Lower 2nd Class Satisfactory; 3rd Class Good; Lower 2nd Class Satisfactory; 3rd Class Marginal fail; Fail Marginal fail; Fail Excellent; 1st Class Outstanding; First Class Satisfactory; 3rd Class Satisfactory; 3rd Class Marginal fail; Fail Satisfactory; 3rd Class
