Planning is essential to manage your time in a constructive way to complete the actions to be carried out. Planning helps to be organised on a day-to-day, weekly and monthly basis. While planning you have to obtain as many details about the piece of work you are doing to enable you to produce your work as efficiently as possible.

There are many things that I do that contribute to the overall delivery of the service provider, for example I provide the best possible care I can give to the service users & families of those service users by communicating effectively & being involved in their day to day activities and personal needs I may also write their daily reports in deep detail. Introduction to duty of care in health, social care or children’s and young people’s settings Understand the implications of duty of care Health and social care organisations have what is called a duty of care towards the people they look after. That means that they must do everything they can to keep the people in their care safe from harm. It is not only the care establishment that needs to prioritise the safety, welfare and interests of the people using its services, but also the care workers of the establishment. My employer also has a duty of care for staff members, to ensure that working conditions are safe, and suitable to deliver the service. I have a duty of care to myself, my colleagues and the person I am caring for or anyone else affected by my actions.

All relevant parties need to be understood, listened to and listen to the views of others, in order for colleagues to foster a good working relationship and provide a good service for the individuals who use it. A working relationship which has effective communication will quickly help to build trust between the individuals involved. It is equally important to be able to communicate with the individuals who use our service. They have a right to be able to express an opinion and it is our job to ensure that they are understood and listened to.
I have those to fall back on and review, as well as my notes I took during lectures on Time-Management. So I feel confident in that area. The other challenge that I can handle is with work. As a Site Supervisor and Patrol Supervisor, I’m sometimes asked to work strenuous and complex shifts. With the proper approach, I can inform my HR Rep ahead of time to have my work schedule changed accordingly in junction with my school schedule.
