This is Gilbert. Towards the end of the film Gilbert doesn’t allow Arnies disability hold him back. in the beginning Gilbert never liked brining his brother around because he always caused trouble and bothered Gilbert. Eventually Gilbert started to hate and arnie and ended up hitting him. this is was big eye opener for Gilbert because he realized he shouldn’t be letting arnie hold him back from being happy in his life.
In the novel, Finney comes back to school so certain of himself “with such health,” he keeps doing things he shouldn’t be doing, which makes him believe he is still eligible to participate in the war (Knowles 104). Just like Finney, Neil in the movie is so sure and proud of himself for preforming in the play that he uses one of his soliloquies to direct an apology towards his dad; this makes his dad even madder (Dead Poets’ Society). Since Neil and Finney are both courageous and “most innocent of all” the characters, it’s harder to face the reality that’s in front of them, like how Neil can’t comprehend his dads firm answer, and how Finney won’t believe he is actually cripples (Telgen). Furthermore, Finney, who is brave, suggests jumping off the tree with Gene. Although Gene almost falls off, Finney catches him and saves Gene’s life, but he “practically lost it” too (Knowles 33).

You have the noble hero, motivational muse that keeps the hero alive, the political figures, the villain’s, the comrades, the friend’s. In my opinion the main character, Ender remains the same. Ender is a smart and noble worrier and his biggest conflict throughout the movie is that he wants to defeat the enemy but still feels the necessity to maintain his humanity in the process. Possibly the biggest and only change we see in Ender is that he loses his fears and learns to be a leader and ultimately the noble hero of the story.
Cyrano, the main character in Cyrano was a very proud, generous, self-sacrificing, and ambitious man. These characteristics come out in Act one, but last throughout his lifetime. He keeps being his magnanimous self. There are so many ways he expresses himself and even though he had all those characteristics, he wasn’t doing it symbolically. In light of his gesture he completely revealed his character and his true self.
Doodle’s brother and Joe compare because Doodle and Simon both depend on these boys for things. They both help to mentor, push, and help Doodle and Simon to do their best. Simon had an impeccable faith in all and in God. Doodle had faith in his brother and himself towards the end of his life. Both boys have pride in themselves because they both are pushing themselves for the better, and they believe vanity is utterly unimportant.
The men who view him this way are totally different from each other. For example, George plays the role of the family member to Lennie, which at times makes him act cruel towards Lennie. At first, Crooks views Lennie as just another one of the workers who treats him badly then later realizes he is a nice and caring man. Curley on the other hand strongly dislikes big men and being that Lennie is a big guy, Curley never gives Lennie a chance to be friends. Lennie is viewed by s few characters in the novel and it affects their characterization.

After everyone has been questioned, Arthur says this: “It doesn’t matter much now, of course, but was he really a police inspector?” “Well, if he wasn’t, it matters a devil of a lot.” He says this after the Inspector has left and shows that even if the Inspector was a fake and tricking him then it did not happen and everything could go back to normal. This showed that if the Inspector was not real, he felt he did not have to take any responsibility for Eva’s death and Arthur felt relieved. Arthur also says that if it was more than one girl, it makes a difference as well because he may have only sacked one of
Proctors action s reveal his inner strength. For example, when John tears his testimony he is giving his life away. Proctor action’s not common because he is a brave man who cares about his family. In Salem no body else would have dared defy authority because they are afraid to die by the injustices of the town. John Proctor choose to go against the judge s orders for the reputation of his family can be ruin because of his action.
Events such as war can create distrust and fear among former friends. Dr Stockton’s neighbors in “The Shelter” demand that he sacrifice his own family’s safety to prove his friendship. However he puts his family’s safety first and refuses to open his shelter to his neighbors. In response, the neighbors show their true colors toward Dr. Stockton and his family. Their destruction of the shelter is also a destruction of the friendship, with the Stockton family.
