People are victims of racial profiling every day. Everyone does it, not just law enforcement. A lot of people don't even realize it when they do it. When you are out in public, especially at night, and you see a person of a different race, you tend to have a fear that they are going to harm you in some way. People tend to profile other people based on their race and not their actions.
My parents took turns in administering the scriptures and gave us a scripture verse to learn after which we would hold hands and pray. Whether it was weekend or holidays we had to awake early to pray. For the summer vacation every other Saturday we had to pray and fast from 6am to 12noon. As children my brothers and I would cry out for hunger but my mom was very strict when it comes to her religious practices. If she says is 12 0’clock we finishing she not stopping until that time.

During what is referred to as rush hour, at times I wanted to just scream at the ignorance of people; that lane will not go any faster than the one you were in.
People like the Catholics, someone with a physical disability, people with mental disabilities, alcoholics, widows, orphans, the elderly, or anyone who was perceived to not be strong enough to carry their weight in society was asked to move on (streetnewsservice.org, 2010). All those people were considered a transient class of people. These people were homeless, moving from place to place looking for some place to settle and not finding anywhere that would take them into their community. It was a new world filled prospects, but not for everyone. The Great Depression of 1929 was also a great contributor to the number of homeless in America.

I am from New York, New York where I come from a very sheltered family. Being on my own, with other ambassadors who I rarely knew, in a poorer country got me scared and nervous. The hardest part for me was not being in the Los Potojos area, but when we explored the rest of the cities, there was a lot I had witnessed that is something hard for me to witness. Walking around mid-day, and at night, there was a lot of people sleeping on the streets, fights going on, people begging for money, and creepy men staring at the females. There were guides that had weapons them so we could be safe and protects.
