Just thinking about the skinning of an animal terrifies me, but it saddens me more to know that there are people in the world that can kill animals just for the profit that it can bring to them. When an animal is captured, it is put through unbelievable pain. It sometimes drives the animal to tear through its own flesh and bone, sometimes the animal even loose teeth because they bite on the trap. Sometimes the animals are left suffering for hours before the hunters show up to kill the animal by stumping on the animal. This type of animal cruelty is legal for people with a license to hunt, but for those who are not legalized hunters can face many years in prison and be fined thousands of dollars.
Although these environmental effects can obviously be issues, most people would probably be wondering what effects they can have on them personally. With that thought, we arrive at the question... IV. How do these environmental effects caused by factory farming effect the human population? A. The pollution or ground water, surface water, and soil effect plants and animals that live in the habitats and also carries E. coli bacteria to areas that can effect humans.
Consider, for example, the controversial issue of abortion. Individuals with particular religious beliefs tend to view laws allowing mothers an abortion choice as unjust, while individuals with other value systems might view such laws as just. Similarly, some people might find some laws unjust because of their personal interests. For example, law that limits the emission of harmful substances from the factories protects people from the harmful hazards of these things. However, a factory might find this law unjust, as he has to install expensive filters to dispose of the harmful gases and chemicals from its waste.
It also have some very harmful effects on humans and nature. It creates large amount of pollution, destroys the nature and also increases the diseases in human societies. As in documentary about “The Ethics of Fracking” by Marleen troy PhD (Environmental Engineer), Bernard Prausak and Rabbi Mordechai Liebling.
Feral pigs usually stay close to water so they can drink regularly and to control their body temperature, as they are extremely susceptible to heat. The outcome of this is fouling of the water, which can have an impact on many native species. When searching for vegetation to eat, feral pigs root up riparian environments, which has many negative affects. This can contribute to damaging ecosystems, formation of weeds and the spread of dieback (Phytophthora Cinnamomi) disease. Dieback disease is a
I have learned that the use of toxic chemicals during the fracking process and the occurring release of toxic chemicals and radioactive materials during well processing is bad for the environment. Such as, Naphthalene, Xylene, Toluene, Methylbenzene, and Formaldehyde, are all known or suspected to be human carcinogens (Schmidt). Also Hydraulic fracking hurts the environment by the contaminating the water wells, and springs, in which many humans and animals drink from. Another environment impact of hydraulic fracturing is air pollutions. Finally the way fracking impacted animal and human health.
These bags not only affect us humans in a negative way but also are a significant harm to many animal and our mother Earth. The bags themselves do not impact us humans the most even though we are the source for them becoming a harm in the first place. They hurt the world around us which in turn harms us. Many people might say that the
First of all animal cruelty is a natural problem because it affects animal, it violates their rights, leaving them with serious physical or psychological injuries that may cause them death. Also when they take species out of their wild environment, and put them under control of the humans for entertainment and experiments, they are affecting the natural balance. Under the control of humans, they are likely to be abused and mistreated. It is a cultural issue because people from Spain and around the world actually believe that the fighting bull is only for fight, so that is why they kill them, because it´s entertainment and they give them a honorable death. Also, in the case of the whale killing, it is also cultural because in some parts of the world, they have used some whale parts in order to do traditional medicine.
How can we prioritise species for conservation? Species becoming extinct: Species are facing various problems key to their survival such as destruction of animal habitats, damage to the natural environment of living things, for example trees are cut down to build homes, , Oil spills, acid rain and water pollution also add to the destruction of habitats. Moreover another cause for extinction is when animals are over-hunted for their meat, fur and other valuable parts. Another cause could be ‘when animals or plants arrive into a new habitat from a foreign place they sometimes introduce diseases that the native species can't fight. These "exotic" species can also prey on the native species’.
Individual smokers can be harmful not only to themselves but also to the people around them who in turn are coerced to become passive smokers. It can lead to serious illnesses and diseases such as cancer and can cause people numerous other problems. Smokers also harm the environment as harmful toxic substances such as carbon monoxide are released due to the consumption of a cigarette. This not only harms the ozone layer but also leads to air pollution which is also harmful to plant and animal life. Therefore, the negative impact of smoking can be felt in various components of the ecosystem.
