Illicit drug trade seems to be flourishing throughout India and is permanently damaging India as a whole. India thinks that approaching the UN with this problem should bring up some resolutions to completely cease drug trafficking in India. India proposes that the main way to crack down on illicit drug trafficking is to first build up the police force. India’s police force is quite weak and is not helpful in many ways when it comes to stopping crime throughout India and its borders. Along with a bigger police force, India can start placing police forces and militia along the borders
Drugs are an escape for many people to get out from reality. From a world that confuses consumers and indulges them in outrageous behaviors in order to fulfill their addiction. Society is acting with indifference about these people, and feeding them hate instead of understanding; in fact, the streets are filled with incomprehensible junkies. How can we make a difference for drug-addicts? Are our cities and our governments going to be able to make a change or at least reduce the number of consumers?
Research Proposal on Drug Trafficking in the US Ashford University English Composition II 12 November 2012 Topic: Complete Eradication of Drug Trafficking in the US The wide scope of this paper and the core nature of the problem for this research proposal is the Drug trafficking in the United States and most specifically the eradication of the vice in the United States. This topic was chosen so as to correspond this study with the National Drug control strategy that is annually developed by the president. This paper will narrow the specific claim to the fact that the United States has been able to deal with this issue a great deal to some extent but this has led to the new problem of poverty and addicts who are unable to access the drugs (Whitehouse.gov, 2011). The claim if further investigated leads to the findings that if the United Sates was to set a resolve that is focused on legalizing some of the drugs, crimes related to drugs including the trafficking would go down considerably. The famous phrase that the forbidden fruit is sweetest is very common and very actual thus if some of the drugs were to be legalized this would greatly help in alleviating the widespread use of drugs and the crimes related to drugs altogether (National Drug Control Strategy, 2011).
America’s primary goal is national security and when thousands of illegal immigrants travel into the U.S. each year, any one of those illegal immigrants could have plans to wreak havoc on this country. Gang members could be affiliated with terrorist groups who have ill-intentions for America, jeopardizing public safety (I’d rather my pink Caddy not have bullet holes in it). Along with the violence, illegal immigrants take jobs away from legal residence (right about here is where I ran out of stuff to say so I B.S.-ed it to make it longer, just bein’ honest). It’s proven that illegal immigrants are more likely to do lower paying jobs that involve more labor than legal Americans, but in the long run those jobs would be filled by previously un-employed citizens. Drug cartels have taken over large swathes of Guatemala and other Central American countries, fueling some of the highest murder rates in the world. Drug trafficking is a major issue because it threatens the stability, prosperity and peace of the country. The issue of illegal drug trafficking and the violence that comes with it is nothing new to Guatemala. Why does Guatemala suffer from the immense amount of drug trafficking?
Alcohol dependence and drug abuse The abuse of alcohol and drug abuse can effect a person’s economic, psychologically and physically. Drug and alcohol addiction is said to be the worst kind of addiction that one can have its common and costly. It can cause or worsen many medical problems and destroy families. With most street drugs outlawed in the United States the question still remains: Why is alcohol legal when it has been proven to be a leading cause of death? With that being said alcohol and drug addiction also takes a toll on wallets and families.
