Four, I know for a fact no one is out there, I know because I, unfortunately, peeked too nights ago. Curiosity consumed my mind and I just had to see what was out there. That was the only question on my mind, I needed to know. But I regret it, knowing how the world out there really is. Empty.
She violently thrashed about looking for me, and I, innocent and unwilling to cooperate with the governess beckoning me over to her. I finally fell upon the governess’ line of sight and I immediately grew irritated with myself for not hiding
Whoever he is, he’s got me. The walls are dark and dull, no colour or happiness. There’s no way out, but weirdly enough a little light trespasses through the withered wall, that’s how I can slightly see, just. I haven’t slept, and I’m so tired but I can’t sleep, knowing something could happen to me any minute, any second. “BAAANNNGGG” He’s here.
No one had a cell phone in Sierra Leone so getting lost is a lot more dangerous than it is here. I was found within 30 minutes of being lost, Ishmael was never really found again. His family was dead, his village was most likely burned down, and he was lost in the middle of a war torn country. Being lost was tough for me, but if this same thing happened in Sierra Leone, I would have handled it a lot
The smell of dead rotten bodies attracts rats. They are everywhere you look and some are even as big as Felix our cat. The other night I was woken up by Johnny screaming. As I looked towards him I could see a big rat (the one the size of Felix) had nibbled through his haversack and tunic to get to his flesh. With a cry of horror I threw the rat twenty yards into no man’s land.
This story seems a little bit ridiculous and believe me, I can hardly comprehend this series of events, but it did happen and I have that rabies shots form to prove it. It all started in a KFC parking lot, I had just reached my car with food in hand when a tiny little bat landed “SLAP” on my car. Being the animal lover that I am, I didn’t want to hurt the poor little creature, which was now under my rear wheel struggling to crawl away after the shock of colliding with my car. Without so much as a second thought I gently picked it up and examined it, making sure it’s wing wasn’t broken. This was not to the bats liking and it decided to clamp down hand on my finger.
That was the last I saw of Hanna for what seemed like an eternity. I was walking through the hallways but there was still no one to be found. I went up to the third floor, and still nothing until I turned down a hallway. All the lockers where open. In each locker there was a letter spray-painted in red.
I thought I'd take a step back to marvel at our horrifying work, such tremendous times we've had together and still more to come. I remember quite clearly when the witches stood by their cauldrons, putting together their magical spells that turned a prince into a frog, or when the demons and ghouls roamed around trying to find some mischief to cause, oh what a grand sight it was. The marvelous times when the children run around all night, trying to get some yummy treats and all they needed was a single greet. Halloween, our most memorable time together each year, it's the perfect night for everyone, because its always fun and of course very scary! We mustn't forget about all the mischievous ideas that each and everyone of us has come up with.
He sends her to a psychiatrist because she is insane to think that a person can transform into a panther. Her race has grown up believing that cat people are real and are afraid of them. It creates a negative portrayal of Irena believing in this legend because it makes them seem insane and really superstitious. Irena having such a horrible childhood might have traumatized her letting her believe that she is a cat person. Irena explains how in Serbia King John drove the Mameluks out when he saw what the villagers had become, cat people representing evil, and killed most of them.
In the beginning of the book Boo Radley is described scary, to illustrate, “Boo was about six-and-a-half feet tall, judging by his tracks; he dined on raw squirrels and any cats he could catch, this is why his hands were bloodstained…” (Lee 13). Boo Radley is shown as a very scary and sickening person, when most likely he is not like this at all. He would most likely be locked away for some sort of
