Volunteering in schools, neighborhoods, and the local festival help bring unity to the community. This gives its residents an opportunity to spend time together and be responsible for the livelihood of one another. This coming together of the residents with common goals helps the community thrive as a whole which benefits its future success. Investing monetarily is also a part of giving back to help the community. This helps to support those who are less fortunate and give to causes that need a solution or cure.

Dear: National Junior Honor Society Committee I currently represent the “Character” Trait of NJHS by being honest to others and very workable with my fellow peers. Many people rely on me as a very good person to come to in a great time of need. I deeply care for my family and other people. I also listen to others ideas to help improve their idea or to help make it a reality. I will use all of these characteristics to help this organization reach out to people in need.
Not only are we doing this all for free for the community and to bring attendance but also, the main goal is to spread and worship the lord to the people of Cerritos. This resolution would cost zero dollars but it does cost the hard work and time from the members of CMC. The more input we put into the community, the output we will benefit and
I like hanging out with people to see how they grew up and talk to them just to help them relax. I also love to volunteer, especially during the holiday season. I like to feed the homeless and visit my old school to help out the students who go there. 2. As an African American I would share my religion, family values, and celebrating the holidays.
Because of the tools of meeting space, ministries of the church and other Christian fellowships can occur throughout the week. Because of the tools of beautiful property, ministries of recreation and relationships can occur through a Fall Festival, picnics, and outdoor sports. Because of the tools of media equipment, ministries of imagination and communication can occur in education, worship, and fellowship. God has blessed his people at Elkins Lake Baptist Church with incredible tools. We pray to use what we’ve been given to grow in Christ-likeness and to serve the world in Christ-likeness.
I feel that doing this showed that I had a great kind heart and I know God will be proud of me. I have no regrets about doing this because helping others is the way God wants us to be. What I learn from this experience is helping others is being a humble person. This relates to sociology because I had great work ethics. Secondly a lot of people came together to help a family work on their home .I feel that sociology played a big role in this volunteer work that I did because I saw how different races came together and help a family build a home which I know put a smile on my
Over time I was able to see the positive the effects these sessions had on the children and their families. Conducting these sessions has taught me the importance of incorporating the foster parents. I was able to help the parents implement techniques and strategies that resulted positive behavior changes in the children. I have never been more ready or eager to take the next step in my journey and begin my studies in mental health counseling. I believe this program will lead me to a fulfilling career, which will be rewarding in terms of the help I will provide to others.
“If there is no struggle there is no progress,” these words spoken by Fredrick Douglas, reflect the essence of my families’ motivation to stay strong and always peruse a better life. This quote is especially significant to me because it reflects my drive and passion to achieve my own dreams in life. My parents played a major role in inspiring me to help other people, and to work hard to achieve my goals; they thought me by example. I realized that I have been blessed to have the parents that I do. I deeply value what they have thought me: the strength, integrity, and compassion for others.
Frederick Douglass and Malcolm X get success further on their lives. Frederick Douglass and Malcolm X is the great and inspiring person in the world. They are also an example for us to improve our learning process in our life. While learning the stories written by Frederick Douglass and Malcolm X, the lessons I have learned from them is to take the advantage of educations that I have received from school, college, professors, and from my friends. Encourage your self-education by yourself, and do not expect from others to force you to learn.
