Since construction started at the beginning of Hatshepsut’s reign, these scenes were filled in as the accomplishments took place. On either side of the first level ramp are papyrus pools and a galleries, with a double row of columns supporting the roofs. The porticoes on this terrace were restored in 1906 to protect the reliefs that show the giant obelisks being transported by barge to Karnak. Sumerian kings built many towers to please and worship their gods. The towers were made of brick plat forms with shrines at the top. A Ziggurat was an ancient Mesopotamian tower with staircases outside and a shrine at the top.
These civilizations also shared another similarity. These civilizations both built irrigation systems to carry out water from the rivers. Mesopotamia canalled the waters from the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers. Egypt built irrational canals to control the waters from the Nile. This was a similarity between Egypt and Mesopotamia because during this time period people relied on water for many things such as drinking, bathing and most importantly for keeping their land fertile.

One of the major technological inventions was the irrigation system--the digging of canals for better access to water sources. Irrigation had many uses, such as trade routs and the transfer of silt-bearing water for agriculture.
They both used stone and mud bricks as the predominant building material. Ancient Egyptian houses were made out of mud collected from the Nile River. It was placed in molds and left to dry in the hot sun to harden for use in construction. There is consensus among historians and Egyptologists that the ancient Egyptians were the first builders ever known to man; they taught humanity how to design and erect buildings; thus laying grounds for human civilization, urbanization and man's settlement in a specific homeland of his own for the first time in history. Cities were built in cultivation land near the Nile River so the natural flooding would water their crops, and bring with it natural minerals needed by the crops.
Beginning in 2100-2050 BCE with the Nanna Ziggurat the flat head pyramid was seen in usage in Iraq. Keeping similar architecture style with the Khafre’s Pyramids built in 2520-2494 BCE located in Egypt present the structure of a three dimensional triangle. Both structures found in the Middle East can be compared similarly in the sense of shape, base, and structure while being built in different time periods with different resources and with distinct specific purposes. The Nanna Ziggurat is one of the most remarkable surviving archaeological remains. Ziggurats built above flat plains publically made known the wealth, and stability of city ruler’s and glorified its gods (Cothern and Stokstad 2011, 28).
Not only did the river supply the needed moisture to the crops, but the banks of the river contain fertile soils that were necessary for the thriving food source. They are made up of 5 people Adam Savage, Jaime Hyneman, Grant Imahara, Kary Byron, and Tory Belleci. Apollo 11 had and still has several conspiracy theories. One of the most common theories is that Apollo 11 was staged in a studio instead of being actual footage of man’s first steps on the moon. Since this is such an important part of history the myth busters wanted to prove that the Apollo 11 mission was in fact true.
The Archimedean screw was used by the Egyptians to raise water from the canal. A wheel with buckets attached to string that dipped several meters into the ground to retrieved water was called the water wheel too used by the Egyptians. (Mahdav, 2012). How did the nature of the water supply itself condition the strategy this society chose? Natural basins developed by old levees, the levees ran parallel to the river, which farmed natural basins trapping water for later
