Conflict speech Conflict results in strong feelings and emotions. Conflict being a state of disharmony between incompatible or antithetical persons, ideas, or interests. A clash. The nature of conflict requires strong emotions, as if something worth fighting over. It must be something we can ultimately become emotional about. It’s in our nature to have strong emotions and these emotions may lead to a conflict. Most conflict is over what we are told not to debate over, what we believe needs to be acted against. People see problems and situations; emotions are than triggered and depending on how great an impact the emotion has on them they may decide to act against it. This could be simply just voicing their opinions, thought and ideas, or on a larger scale the situation could trigger a greater emotion and push the person to act against it physically an example of this could be a war, a battle or an argument. Imagine a world without conflict, a world with no freedom of speech. A world with no Wars. No arguments. No emotion. A world without conflict may seem the perfect world, were everyone lived in harmony with each other. A world without conflict would be a tainted world, an undesirable world for all. In the film the Hurt Locker, we see many types of conflicts; between friends, between countries and also between the levels of power. There are many types of ways that we can detect a conflict. In one scene we see how the conflict inflicts death. This is caused by the cultural differences between the two beliefs within the society. We see this by looking at the poverty of the population, the film techniques used to convey this is constant scan of the surrounding buildings. The camera acts as if the audience is the character, the hero, walking looking above at the buildings sourcing the people. Showing us how significant the character is. We see
