Concubinage definition Caning- a punishment similar to flogging. Abolition- the action or an act of abolishing a system, practice, or institution. Stoning- an act of throwing stone at a person. Flogging- an act of beating (someone) with a whip or stick as punishment or torture. Flagrante delicto- a legal term used to indicate that a criminal has been caught in the act of committing an offense ( latin word) DESTIERRO-- Those sentenced to destierro shall be precluded from entering the place or places designated in the sentence, or within the radius therein designated, which shall include a distance of 25 kilometers at least, and 250 kilometers at most, from the place designated. Condonation- meaning a forgiveness by the husband of his wife or by a wife of her husband, of adultery committed, with an implied condition that the injury shall not be repeated Infedility- an act of unfaithfulness to one's husband or wife. CONJUGAL DWELLING--- It is the home of the husband and wife even if the wife happens to be temporarily absent on any account. COHABIT-- Cohabit means to dwell together, in the manner of husband and wife, for some period of time, as distinguished from occasional transient interviews for unlawful intercourse. INFLICT- to impose something unpleasant as a burden SCANDAL IN TERM-- The scandal spoken of in Article 334 consists in any reprehensible word or deed that offends public conscience, redounds to the detriment of the feelings of honest persons, and gives occasion to the neighbor’s spiritual damage or ruin Evidence that the defendant had the chance to have sexual relations coupled with a desire, oropportunity and inclination, might be sufficient to prove guilt.
