Papers with many quotations sometimes leave the impression the writer did not fully appreciate the content in the identified sources. When quotations are used, typically they are used because the words from another are unique or apply in a special way to the issue or opinion the writer is presenting. Quotations in papers must include an APA citation, including a page or paragraph number where the quotation can be found within the cited reference work. Statements based on sources that have been paraphrased typically do not require inclusion of page or paragraph numbers in the provided in-text citations. To be clear, it is not acceptable to copy and paste sentences or a paragraph or more into a student paper, and then include an intext citation to the source at the end of the copied material.

Since Standard English is usually time consuming to construct and difficult to use, people find it easier to use non-standard English, where the governing rules and grammar are more flexible making it efficient and easy to use. Non-standard English also complements and makes using technology less difficult and more efficient e.g. using numbers in a text “w8 4 me”. Using non-standard English also helps an individual represent and express one self-e.g. Lebanese people using words such as “cuz” for “cousin “ or Afghan origin people using the word “bachem” for brother in English.
The transition of the paragraphs is acceptable with topic sentences, which are well explained. However, Gladwell distracts at one or two places from his theme. In spite of all this, Gladwell’s transition from the body of the article to the end is smooth, which makes it a readable article. It is an informative article, but whether it persuades someone against purchasing an SUV, I doubt

There are many laws that come into play with the end result being less crime. They are intended to make punishments harsher for offenders with the hopes that the offender will not repeat crimes. The Habitual Felon Act was developed in order to increase sentencing time for the repeat offenders. This was considered to be a ""tough on crime" legislation that was adopted by the North Carolina General Assemble in the early 1990s" (Young). The law was also adapted in order to get more violent individuals off of the street, instead it filled the prisons with nonviolent, low priority felons.
