Part 1 The claim I am making is that the Boston Marathon bombings on April 15, 2013 was bad. This claim links to the area of ethics since it seeks to know how best to choose lovingly in the many situations of life. The claim I have made is judging whether the bombs in Boston, was the right, loving choice to make in this situation and then it proceeds to say that no it was not. The areas of human science, history, natural science and mathematics all relate to this claim though less directly. People most of the time look back in history when a tragic event happens for an event that was similar to compare it to for example 9/11. They were both attacks on the citizens of the Unites States. Sensory perception helped me to be able to experience the bombings on the news. It helped me get the raw data that was required for this claim to be made. Through the use of my senses I was able to hear about the bombings and then get the information that was needed in order to make this claim and see the details of the bombing in news articles. Cognitive emotions coming from my transcendental yearning for value were critical in my making this judgment. The negative emotions I felt when I looked at this situation in the search for value and the fact that I was unable to find any helped me determine that this situation was bad. Also my emotions needed to be present, under control and understood if any value judgment is to be made. I needed to be aware of my feelings so I can judge whether any situation is good or bad. I have experienced fear, hurt and horror and this aided me in formulating my claim. Since I have experienced all these emotions I have an understanding of them so that when they happen in other situations I can form a connection however tenuous the connections may be. This gives me a greater understanding of the situation which helps me make this
