The Bermuda Triangle The Bermuda Triangle is about an invisible horizon. In 1969, John Spencer stated that the area had no real shape and said it stretch over the Gulf of Mexico. Richard Winner later gave the Bermuda Triangle the name “The Devils Triangle”. The Bermuda Triangle is also known for its famous disappearance. There is much expiation on the supernatural causes to the Bermuda Triangle. The triangle boundaries and area it covers is very particular. To begin with, there were incidents on the famous disappearances in the Bermuda Triangle. Many ships, boats and airplanes also disappeared. For example, Mary Celeste is called one of the ghost ships because it got lost in the Bermuda Triangle in 1872. Flight DC-3 was 50 miles south of Florida and it was about to land in Miami on December 28, 1991 when it disappeared. In 1991, pilot Grumman Cougar jet made a routine radio request to increase altitude, while ascending the aircraft gradually faded from the radar. The boundaries of the Bermuda Triangle cover the Straits of Florida. It covers Bahamas and the entire Caribbean island area. The boundary in the triangle is somewhere on the Atlantic coast of Miami.
