They are sometimes keeping the prices too low to compete with their competitor but this strategy has a disadvantage. They couldn’t make a lot of profit from the merchandises. Therefore, a recommendation needs to be given. They should utilize their space in each store efficiently.
As Sainsbury's have a hierarchical structure they are most likely to lose a lot of money because for the marketing and research and development departments to carry out their functions they would need funding from the finance department. For this information to get to the finance department a lot of time would have been wasted and also for the finance department to reply to them, all this would cost them a lot of money. Advantages of Sainsbury's is that the power they have would be successful for the business as when work is being done the communication of the workers together when given commands from the manager and having to work better for the manager to impress them in order for more work to be done and at a more well-organized rate then if there was no pressure from the manager. Disadvantages would be that the workers would start to get stressed from having to complete the workload at too fast a pace for them to work at all times that they will start to work less and dislike there job and some days may not want to work as they are stressed to do work which is too much for them to cope as they are trying too hard to impress, this could lead to employees wanting to quit their job. Advantages are that when having to complete work set out by the manager to the employees it can be done efficiently so that the manager will be able to assess the employee and they could get a promotion to a higher part of their job.
Rivalry in the grocery industry is a strong competitive force for several reasons. First, companies are using competitive weapons such as sales specials, coupons, company card to save additional money, and high use of advertising. Second, customers switching cost is low. Last, competitors are becoming equal in size and therefore able to achieve similar results. In this case, Winn Dixie, Publix, and Wal-Mart are the main competing firms within the industry in my area.
SWOT Analysis CanGo is made up of multiple internal and external factors that are both favorable and unfavorable to the company’s future plans and success. A SWOT analysis helps to breaks these areas down to fully understand their impacts on the organization. CanGo does have unfavorable factors including internal weaknesses, and external threats. Weaknesses that have been identified include an unorganized management team. Low customer satisfaction is another internal weakness that is crucial to the success of CanGo.
One of the marketing strategies that ensure the company of long-term profitability is the personal relationship built with the customer base. Customers will not have the same shopping experience with large grocery stores. If there are items that customers would like to have available in Kudler stores they are able to communicate that to management. Management can then relay the data to Kathy Kudler who will search the world for the best available items to satisfy the customer. People will not have the loyalty they get from Kudler at other grocery marts.

In my opinion it is a sick cycle, which enviably will reduce the standard of living in the United States. The individuals seeking to pay less for their purchases don’t realize the effect it has on the surrounding economy, including reduced wages, reduced community support, reduced business opportunity, reduced land values, reduced tax base, and ultimately lower standard and quality of living for most members of the community. I personally think that Wal-Mart is a modern day monopoly. It kills the competition. This is harmful for our economy.

Honest shoppers now fall into the same mistrust category as shoplifters because they cannot be distinguished easily from one another by the retailer. If a store has to close down because they can’t make any money then that cuts jobs. One store may not seem like a big difference, but when stores are closing every day because they can't maintain a stable business because of shoplifters it changes a lot for families everywhere.
This response likely had the added effect of offending their employee base by suggesting that their employees would utilize the program to steal from the company. This offense has the significant potential for lowering employee engagement and retention. Clearly, Company Q is not educated in how ethical conduct and social responsibility by a company can actually boost its profits. Their current position only serves to perpetuate the long lived consumer mind-set that companies are inherently dishonest and only have eyes on profit. It is unrealistic to believe that Company Q can instantly jump from their current posture to one of deep and meaningful social responsibility and corporate ethics.

If a customer’s complaint isn’t resolved it can lead to a bad reputation for the company as well as a decrease in sales. When a customer is unhappy with a product or service they will often tell people about their bad experience. This will lead to people not wanting to use your products/services.
