Being Wild At Heart Wild At Heart is an emotionally stimulating book by John Eldredge about what men are and really should be, deep in their hearts. In the book Eldredge writes about how men all desire three things that they have always and will always want. These three things; “A battle to fight,” “an adventure to live,” and “a beauty to rescue,” are what every man wants to live out and experience. It's what we dream of. We always want to fight the good fight or save a damsel in distress. This point that we all feel this way and want to go and do these things was easy to relate to and I had a good time reading about men who have. I agree strongly and it made me realize that I too have these desires. Eldredge consistently talks about Adam and how he was exemplified these desires in his interactions with Eve. How school systems always get them I trouble for showing their masculinity. They in other words feminize them to become nicer people and not to show their rowdy and dangerous side. This leads men to become very bored and makes it harder for them to seek the adventure they long so much for. I really liked the book and he bakes up what he says with various scripture references to passages in the Bible. This is good and helps me understand what he is trying to tell me. I enjoyed this, and it got me reading the Bible a little bit. Overall, reading the book I felt true and it helped open my heart up. The book helps men open their hearts truly and help reveal who we really are and what we really want to do. It teaches us to fight the good fight to live through a great adventure and be a hero. I enjoyed reading the book and I would recommend it. It is interesting to read and easy to understand the authors logic and style of
