Also gives one the idea what these family went through and how they felt. I feel that I felt their feelings like I was there with them. The author focuses on not just the victims but also the killers that were not found guilty because reason of insanity, which they were able to go to a mental hospital. In my opinion, I think if it were one of my family members that had gotten murdered by their boyfriend or girlfriend I would not be happy because the judge makes it seem that it was ok to murder someone that one deeply cares for and
