The Mission “Agent 42 you have a new assignment,” said Ashley. “Where am I going this time,” I asked? “Somalia. You and Agent 65 will have to go to the mansion of the warlord and take his wife. His wife is a valuable asset,” she said. “So, if her cover is blown or if she gets killed, you will hope that I don’t find you. You leave at 2400 hours,” said Ashley. So, I went looking for Agent 25. He liked to mess around when he wasn’t working. The first place I looked was at the bar. He was there with his girlfriend or fiancé. Nobody can know what we do. I called him from outside the bar. He immediately came outside. He said, “What’s up!” “We have a mission,” I said. “What is it,” he asked? “Tell your girlfriend you have a business…show more content…
Can you read me?” “Yes Agent 65. Loud and clear,” said kilo one-one. I continued to yell into the radio, “We got a man down and our cover has been blown! Agent 65 has been shot in the knee and we have a helicopter down! Somebody sold us out!” “Sir! You need to calm down,” said kilo one-one. “Calm down! You are telling me to calm down. What do you mean, calm down,” as I go on to scream. “There is a whole army that came out of nowhere that is trying to kill us,” I interrupted. “And, you are telling me to calm down when they are out to kill us, Agent 65 is shot, and we are almost out of ammo,” I said in a calm voice. “You guys sold us out. If and when I get out of here alive, you better hope I don’t find you,” I shouted. I turned off the radio and stuck it with our gear. I peeked over the rock to see what we were up against. I shot three, then two more. I threw a grenade into a crowd of them. They all died. I hurried up and grabbed Agent 65. I threw a smoke grenade so we can run for better cover. The militia thought we were still at the rocks we were hiding behind, so they kept shooting there which bought us time to escape. Agent 65 made a run for it while I gave him covering fire, then I ran for it. We found a river that was nearby. We decided to camp the night out by the river. I cleaned Agent 65’s wound, took the bullet out, and bandaged him up. Shortly after I made us some food to eat, and we got some…show more content…
Agent 65 was sound asleep so I covered him up so he couldn’t be found. I grabbed my shot gun and went to check the surroundings. I see someone lurking in the dark. I aimed my shot gun, ready to pull the trigger, when I heard someone say, “How are you doing Mate?” It was my old partner, Agent 50. It was so good to see a familiar face and someone to help us out. “What happened to your partner,” he asked? As we hiked back to where we were camping out for the night, I told him the whole story. Of course, he wasn’t happy to hear what happened. Agent 50 seemed suspicious. I went on to tell him that I didn’t request back-up but requested an EVAC instead. All he could ask is, “Were they here to shut us down? Why else would they be here?” I asked him, “Why are you here?” He said, “You requested back-up.” “No, I didn’t,” I exclaimed. “I requested EVAC not back-up,” I go onto say. Agent 50 looked at me with a weird look on his face. I asked him, “Are you here to shut me down?” Agent 50 nodded his head left to right repeatedly and said, “Why would I do that to
