How Jeep gets their customers The advertisement, “Whole Again” by Jeep was a compelling clip that grabbed the attention of the viewer by many uses of rhetoric devises; only a communist, with no heart and who wants our country to perish, wouldn’t watch and enjoy the clip. “Whole Again” was a clip that was to show that jeep strongly supports the United States Military soldiers and their family and every American. The commercial starts with a quote from Oprah Winfrey, who also is the narrator for the commercial, “We wait. We hope. We pray. Until you’re home again”(jeep). Immediately the audience gets the sense of it being about soldiers in the United States Military. This automatically appeals pathos to the viewer; it brings out the memories of how our country has been defended by the proud serving men and women. Every American at that point feels great pride for our country and the service members. It was a great way to leash in every proud American who loves their country. That all the loneliness is because of war, which we should bring our troops home so they don’t have to go through this. If there wasn’t war then there wouldn’t be any empty seats, no one would be missed and families wouldn’t go through hard ship, but by them even saying that it is a contradiction. Them be able to say that is freedom of speech; the freedom to do what we want, with some stipulation. This is what those soldiers are overseas to protect, they are protecting these freedoms so people like that can be able to say their opinions, even if it contradicts itself.
