This quote shows that the bullies are more concentrated on bullying their victims rather than their school work. This quote also shows that bullies are not very concentrated in school and will probably fail in school and not get a good career. Another example that shows that students are beginning not to care about school is, “Many of the victims are disengaged in school” (Wolpert 1). This evidence is important because the victims are scared of bullies and are really not concentrating in school like before they began to be bullied. Multiple victims who are hurt from being bullied are starting to fail in school.
Children can also get mental problems because of spanking such as killing themselves. Children start to think about why they were born and asking themselves if they should live in a world where they just get spanked all the time. Therefore, parents who spank their children should change their minds about spanking their children. Spanking children is not a good way to discipline them because children will have bad relationships with parents and other people. For example, children who are usually spanked by their parents have problems with them because of spanking, so children will become more aggressive with other people who are around them.
Or their madly sending nasty text messages or leaving anonymous commentaries on social websites like MySpace or Facebook. Rumors fly, caddy remarks sneak out while they pass each other in the hall, they make smear blogs to hurt others and put them down, they get in fist fights over looks and stealing boys. The competition to be the prettiest, smartest, and most popular makes girls turn vicious animals. Girls even resort to make fake web pages to get you “add” them as a friend and slowly start talking to all your friends trying to turn them against. Girls get so scared and embarrassed that they stop going to school are put in therapy and sometimes lead to drugs and alcohol to make the pain go away.
There are plenty of teens caught up in these dangerous situations, and like older women, the teenage girls feel they are somehow responsible for the abuse they suffer at the hands of the men whom they love and who supposedly love them. This phenomenon is common among abused women. They make excuses for the beatings they take and their abusers insist it will never happen again. And yet it does the cycle of violence never
Some threaten and harass you because they don’t like you for your skin color. Their motto is to protect and serve. Protect and serve who? Some litter like other people do some do drugs and are abusive to their Husband/Wife and children. Some are into pornography and even child pornography.
Example: child X (being the bully) jokes with child V (the victim) and child V is offended by X’s joke. Such type of bullying affects both the victim and the “bully” – when this happens for more than once child V will start to feel less confident. However, as a result of a repetitive behaviour from the child X the “bully” will be excluded by the rest of the class or group. Effects As already mentioned previously, the effects of bullying does not only affect the bullied person, but also the bully him/herself. However another bracket of people who are affected by the action of bullying are the people witnessing the actual bullying.
Don’t Cross the Line Not knowing where the line is, can really drive people to the edge, literally. Bullying has become a part of everyday teenage life. Some people think of it as a joke and just mucking around until the victim decides they’ve had enough, and believe suicide is their only option. Kids don’t realise how severely the words they use can harm the people they aim it at that they cannot persuade them that they mean nothing. Social networks and websites have made it easier for kids to bully others anonymously and harshly.
As a guy, myself, this could have been “heaven” but clearly as a young male with values and morals it was more sad than pleasing to see these girls, that could have possibly been my own classmates, crave such attention with these sexual moves. The families present at the river could not believe the event. Many were infuriated and left the river afraid there children would see these females “gone wild.” The problem that seems to be causing the issue amongst these girls and women is that they’re “mistaking sexual power for real power” according to the author of Female Chauvinist Pigs (Jesella). What is even worse is the fact that they believe “that mimicking the sexuality of strippers, Playmates, and porn stars -- women who are paid to simulate real women's sexuality -- is power in the first place” (Jesella). It is quite disturbing that we see lucid behavior as normal; however, that doesn’t mean every girl is participating.
(Shores 40). Bully occurs in many ways when it comes to boys, they are more likely to attack one another in fighting while girls bullying occurs through rumors about each other. When this happen, students are sometimes rejected(shore41). I feel the cause of
In most sports that are played mostly by boys, have an opioun that girls can’t do it as well as guys can. This hostility to girls that want to play football or wrestle for that matter is sexist. Sexism has traditionally been defined as a unitary hostility towards women (Aicher). This is what coaches and the guys that play on the team do if a girl wants to play football or wrestle. It is mean and rude, but it discourages the girls from trying out for the football team or wrestling team.
