If we paid for students when they get good grads may be this habit will stick with them for life. They always will try, if they got the choice of course, to pick the easiest course in which the high grades is granted instead of picking the courses they really like or they really need with their majority. Instead of seeing the value behind doing the hard work to finish their study and going to the college to graduate and helping people they will be worry about what they will get for doing anything good .They always will worry about what they get and how much cash they will get if they did anything good. The young students of today are the future doctors and engineers or even business leaders of tomorrow and they already learned that it is always about money. They won’t help people who need them if these people don’t have money.
And instead of blaming everybody else or everything else. Personal responsibility requires one to finally accept the truth that you are responsible for your own actions. Most of the time when mistakes are made, the initial reaction is to point a finger or find an excuse rather than accept involvement. Personal responsibility is the key to College success because at times, most students find themselves falling short of what lies in between these two. Some examples are turning homework assignments in at the last minute, running late for class, and cramming for a test.
Joining college immediately also reduces the time wasted and the period of completing college prolonged. If minimized, one is able to finish school fast, get a job and focus on other things in life like investment. It also enables one to advance in their education while still young so as to give room for other advances in life. It would be difficult to pursue such if time would be wasted after completion of every level of education. When students attend colleges immediately, they are kept away from the world of crime that many youth tend to get into due to being without a job.
I was fortune enough to get into college, so why not take advantage of it, and get the real college experience, since I did not really have that, High school Experience, this was my chance, to make up for it. My main reason for wanting to go to college is that I wanted to have a better life. I didn’t want to live my life, paycheck to paycheck, and worrying about whether or not, I am going to have enough money to pay to keep a roof over my head. My parents never went to college, and while they both have decent jobs, and make Okay money, it’s still would be easier for them, if they had gone to college, but they did not have the opportunity that I did. Not everyone can go to college to better themselves, but I was a lucky one, and I am blessed that I am getting a chance to make a better person out of myself, by going to college.
Only I think of the ‘luxury’ as being able to step into and attend college classes daily. Many students are denied the privilege to even be accepted to a university based on their income, ability to pay for tuition costs, and time juggling a full time job. While I agree that trade schools and training program degrees may be appropriate for many individuals, I personally think that one obtains a well-rounded education when taking classes in the Liberal Arts and can obtain more ‘real world’ training if laid off from employment and forced to take an unfamiliar job. Many need to be able to continue to provide for themselves, and often a family with no advisement or help from others. I agree again with Ungar on his theory that “it is often difficult to explain the advantages of a liberal-arts education to people from other cultures, where it is common to

College Admissions: College Acceptance Based On A Students Wealth If you asked most students what it takes to get into college, they would instinctively rehash what had been repeated to them over and over again: If you want to get into college, you're going to need good grades and extracurricular activities! But nobody ever told these students that there was a way to bypass these requirements and guarantee your admittance. It turns out that if you are able to, you can bribe a fair amount of colleges to admit you by giving them a sizable financial donation, I'm talking in the millions. Now some people will read this and automatically think that this is unfair and wrong, but I believe allowing colleges to admit students on the grounds of financial donations rather than academic and extracurricular merit is necessary in order to increase the quality of life for all current and prospective students and could lead to a change in the way we perceive college admittance. The giant donations received from these types of students can be put to great use, one of these uses is funding scholarships.

Although Vedder’s argument is somewhat convincing because he points out the economic problems of a college education, he neglects educational benefits that students could get from a college education. First of all, Vedder argues that students with poor high school grades will most likely drop out and/or not get a good job even with college degrees. However, he doesn’t consider that there are some students who become motivated and attain high academic accomplishments due to positive effects of learning assistance programs in college. It might be true that students with poor grades would continue having bad studying skills and challenging time management problems, but there are many learning assistance programs that are available for students who want to improve their studying skills, such as tutoring services and learning strategy workshops. For example, Seattle University, from which I graduated, had great learning assistance programs.
