TRADITIONAL CLASS AND ONLINE CLASS Introduction paragraph general to specific The Internet has created a revolution in every area of modern life. Education is no exception, and now there are not only traditional classes as we usually learn but also online classes. These two educational kinds have the same goal: to educate and train students having good skills about every thing, but there are some significant differences between them that we have to identified to choose the best way for our children. The first difference between them is the equipments. The basic requirement for taking an online class is access to a computer with Internet access. For online courses with a video element, high-speed Internet connections are often required, although many courses can be accessed through a dial-up connection. Many online classes require students to have email accounts for submitting assignments and receiving feedback. In contrast, the equipment for a traditional class is very simple, a traditional class doesn’t need modern equipments as an online class, just has a classroom with tables, desks, chairsand a blackboard. One more difference between an online class and a traditional class is the methods. Online classes frequently schedule real-time discussion sections among participants by either voice or text chat. One online learning environment has created a virtual campus within the environment of Second Life, where student avatars interact with one another, moreover, some independent traditional courses are similar to online courses in that students pace themselves and submit assignments on their own schedules, either by hard copy or sometimes by email, so search and type is the most activity in these classes. However, the methods of classes are very simple; teachers explain to students by using chalk on the blackboard, students reply by handing and speaking
