In the past, marine NCO’s had the responsibility to protect and bring home his fellow marines. Today they are doing the same thing over in Iraq and Afghanistan. That commitment has never changed once in the marine corp. The marine NCO’s are the embodiment of the Marine Corps’ core values because without them we would have no history or traditions. The core values are the basic of every marine; they are embedded in us from the first day of boot camp till we die.
How Can Living the Cadet Creed Benefit Me? The Cadet Creed can benefit anyone who lives by the creed. By doing this you can get more respect, more responsibility, and become a better citizen. I believe that everyone in JROTC should live by this creed. This is because not everyone in JROTC understands the creed or is just taking the class for an easy “A”.

Support individuals in reducing substance use 4.4 - describe how to manage your own feelings about the individual's progress or lack of this in such a way as to minimise their impact on the support provided. Different conditions may require varying approaches to support self-management. When supporting individuals who are reducing or trying to stop their substance use we need to firstly, remind ourselves that all people are capable of change and possess personal strength and abilities. We must trust that individual's can and will grow in their own time and in their own way. We must be patient and be able to tolerate varying amounts of floundering, confusion and false starts.
Deontologists believe that (1) do the right thing, (2) do it because it is the right thing to do, (3) Don’t do wrong things and (4) avoid them because they are wrong. It would seem that ethical language is seen by many as very meaningful, although for varying reasons. However agent centred theories such as Virtue Ethics would argue that our main focus of morality should be on becoming as virtuous as possible, rather than deciding what is meant by ethical language.
