|Educ G 203 | |Influential Teacher Paper | |[Michelle May | |17 September 2012] | | | The Teachers that have Impacted My Life As I have gone through the school system, I have met a few teachers who have made an impact on my life. Thanks to their dedication, I have now been inspired to further my education and become a teacher myself. I obviously grew up being in the classroom taught by teachers but since my mom is a speech language pathologist I have also seen school from the teacher’s perspective. For as long as I can remember, I have loved helping her in her classroom. From coloring to lesson plans, I enjoy it all.
The teacher or professor may accomplish this by reviewing the material, emphasizing key points, and providing the students with examples that they would easily relate to. Most of them are willing to dedicate extra time to help the student meet his or her needs. Several high school teachers, as well as some college professors go beyond reading, writing, and arithmetic. They teach you about life, all its hardships and all its rewards. Receiving a good education is great, but enhancing yourself and growing as a person is just as important.
Also I managed to complete all the tasks in the given time limit that we got given. Motivation played a big part on me passing this because I got great support at home by my family and also I got support from the teachers and my friends as well at school. Also I think that because I was interested in the subject and wanted to learn, which helped me pass my maths GCSE. The teacher helped me pass also because he was strict but he knew what needed doing and he would always push people to their limits and know when people needed motivation, he also made the room have a positive feeling and he would
So she decided to teach me extra lessons herself.“(pg. 1) By telling this personal experience he shows the students that he's grateful about his achievements and that he even had the opportunity to make it this far in the first place. The message in this is to show the children that you can achieve great things even though you might have a troubled life. A lot of the children might relate to his personal stories and that can motivate the children into focusing in school and to think about their future. He uses examples in every area of his speech in order for the children to see how they can be more efficient.
As a result, I have an excellent adulthood, thanks to the teaching lessons I carried from my childhood. I continue learning of the life the simple things make me funny, I'm responsible with my life and with my family always confronting with firmest all the
I have never refused a request for help in mathematics which is one of my favorite subjects. I always tutor my friends so that we all succeed on tests and things that we don’t understand. It is a joy to be able to help others because it ascertains your abilities while
Because of this, I feel that her students learned a lot and will be prepared for their test. I learned a lot in this science class. I always knew that reviews were helpful to students, especially young ones, but today I learned about the fashion in which a review is best delivered. I was able to see students excelling and students struggling. By the end of the class, many students were better able to understand the lesson and probably improved from a possible “D” on the upcoming test to a “B” or even “A.” I learned that when you involved technology and visuals in your lessons and reviews, so much can be accomplished.
I have completed two classes at this time and I got A’s in both classes. For me getting an A in any class is an accomplishment, and a great boost to my confidence. In High School, I was pretty much passed on C’s, D’s, and F’s. I hated grade school, and High School. Now, I am finding the experience to be fun and interesting, and rewarding.
My sixth grade year was amazing. I got the most amazing teachers. My teachers were Mrs. Mabe and Mrs. Davis. They always helped me when I didn't understand but even when they tried to help me and I didnt get it they gave me a lot of examples and made me do them myself. They never let us fail.
Humor in a teacher is like revealing a “human” side to a potentially non-human form that we expect in particularly from high school teachers (Opinion/Analogy). A classroom that consistently practices humor creates an environment in which students are not afraid to make mistakes because of consequences from their instructor. I am fortunate to have my schedule consist of teachers who advocate humor in the classroom. As expected, my mistakes are often met positively because my teachers recognize that it is a natural learning process that can be as useful if treated the right way. (Anecdote).
