President Barack Obama: “Back to School“

President Barack Obama held a speech called “Back to School“ back in September 2009 at Wakefield High School, in front of students from all over the country.
The president addresses the values of hard work and taking responsibility for paving your own way to success, no matter how hard the obstacles might be.

The purpose of his speech was to persuade and motivate the students to stay focused and do well in school and take full advantage of their potential.
His speech addresses to the American children from kindergarten up to high school.
In the beginning of his speech, Obama says: “I imagine there are some seniors out there who are feeling pretty good right now, with just one more year to go“(pg. 1). A lot of the children might relate to his personal stories and that can motivate the children into focusing in school and to think about their future.
He uses examples in every area of his speech in order for the children to see how they can be more efficient.

Obama describes in his speech that the teachers, the parents and the government has responsibility for the children to get an education,...
