The IRS is doing everything in its power to send these immigrants back to the countries that they belong to because these immigrants are taking jobs away from Americans and are adding to the population. Mexico is the country that most of these illegal immigrants come from because they are without money or work and they cannot take being poor and the way that the government rules their lives. Many Mexicans come to America in hopes to be able to work for a decent salary and be able to support their families. The American dream in their eyes is to just have this opportunity. Most of these immigrants are taking full advantage of this opportunity by doing the jobs that most Americans don’t want to do.
Our freedoms are what set American’s apart from other countries. For example, the amendment is a great example of what I mean. Americans like me have the opportunity to a good education and receive a good career apart from some countries. American people of all different races and religious can live and work together because everyone is allowed an equal opportunity. Americans are united we take pride in our country.
Immigration Sierra brown Period:6 We need to allow immigration in the United States. Times are hard in foreign countries and they don’t have as many opportunities as we do here in America. They don’t have as many jobs or healthcare or freedom. They have wars and other difficult things going on. They don’t have the economy we have or goods.
Many people work hard for years to become a citizen and some don’t even become a citizen. They also take jobs away from United States citizens because they work for less. The average American working man is the one who is taking the biggest hit for illegal immigration. In tough economic times, we cannot afford to pay for non-citizens let alone are citizens. The United States of America pays _______
It is estimated that there are around eleven million people in the United States illegally. As much as sixty-two percent of all the immigrants here illegally are from Mexico (Salamon 3). Even though not every illegal immigrant is from Mexico, if the United States is able to close down the border and prevent more foreign people from entering, the problem would be over sixty percent solved. The fact that there isn’t more action taken against illegal immigrants is astounding. The economy today is far worse off than it should be.
No presidents seem to want to face it because it is such a large issue with few solutions. It is always pushed to the last thing on the president’s agenda because it could be a topic that makes them lose many votes in their attempt to have two terms as president. Recently Arizona made an attempt to solve their problems with illegal immigration and they were not supported by many of their citizens or by the Supreme Court. The reason people are interested in this is because it affects their daily lives. With unemployment at one of its highest peaks in history, Americans are worried they may be losing possible jobs to illegal immigrants.
Usually it is the people who are smart and goal oriented who realize the limited opportunities their country provides for them. You can start your own business, learn a high-tech career, become movie stars, publish a best-selling novel, or be elected to office here in the United States. Many people essentially desire the same things: recognition, wealth, fame, and the feeling of making a difference. America provides an equal opportunity for everyone to go about doing these things. Many countries of the world limit educational opportunities, limit job possibilities and prevent individuals from actually receiving the rewards of their hard work.
There has been a pattern in United States history that the new group of immigrants are being discriminated against and not wanted. A clear example is the growing Hispanic community in the United States and some of them are coming illegally. They are being hated against because there is stereotype that all Mexican Americans are illegal. Legislation also has been passed to make life difficult for the illegal immigrants such as not being able to receive loans for college, and making Hispanics in the state of Arizona need their papers or they could be sent to jail. Many people believe that is unfair that the illegal immigrants do not pay taxes and are getting and taking away jobs from other people.
From massive borders to disobedient citizens, the United States government is unable to enforce their own policies of immigration. With the inability to enforce the law, the United States and its citizens endure several negative effects of illegal immigration. One of the most significant problems caused by illegal immigration is the issue of national security. As previously established, the United States has borders that stretch over thousands of miles and lacks the capacity to fully observe and protect every corner of its territory. As a result of this, thousands of illegal immigrants cross the American border virtually undetected.
Our families don't always cross the finish line in the span of one generation. But each generation passes on to the next the fruits of their labor.“ Castro said. I agree with Castro if the generation before had the opportunity to succeed so should the new generation. This country was made for equality and opportunity. No one should be turn down because they don’t have enough founds because they might not have the money but the intelligence is there and Obama believes in you.
