Racial and ethnic issues have been the heart of America from the beginning and they still remain central to the American political systems as we begin the twenty-first century (McClain and Stewart, 186). Achieving equality for everyone in the United States is possible with multicultural and equal education strong societal awareness of the problems, and greater access to professional employment opportunities for minorities through affirmative action policies. The aim of multicultural education is to create equal educational opportunities for all students, especially for those who are from racially and socio-economically disadvantaged groups. The ideology of “American Dream” is for all citizens to have equal opportunities for success, which allows one access to better quality housing and health care (McClain and Stewart, 133). All of these opportunities can be achieved if the young generation can receive the proper foundation in multicultural education.
We have many great inventions in america. Also, America is defended by a great, strong military. So, imagine a place where you can believe anything you want to, where you have many cool inventions, and have strong powerful men and women fighting for you. Are you proud to be an
Are You Proud To Be An American? It is a great privilige to be an American. We have many rights and freedoms that other countries don't have. Most of us have grown up taking these freedoms for granted. We need to remember how fortunate we are to be American citizens. In the United States, there is free public school education.
It is a great thing to value. I respect Asians for thinking this way. They also value a sense of unity and community. They have the mindset of one for all where everyone works toward the greater good. In America, we seem to pride ourselves on individuality.
This privilege is an important right that resonates with the pride one can feel as an American. I remember when I voted for the first time; I was so proud of being part of the process of electing our president. Even though I’m a Latino immigrant in America, voting made me feel like I was a part of this country. For an immigrant owning a house in the
American exceptionalism is widely viewed as one of the greatest countries to live in, why? Well there are many things that make our country the United States of America great and I feel like many people would agree with me on that. Firstly a reason why America is a great country in a lot of people’s eyes are because we have such diversity here that there are literally people from all over the world that come to America. Secondly we have extremely good medical practice here in the United States; one of the best there is no questions asked. Thirdly and most importantly what makes America great is the freedom we have.
I believe it portrays the real image of “American Victory at War”, and stands for the very freedom that every American carries in their heart. It is a true symbol of patriotism. Because I was fortunate enough to experience this in person, and see it with my own eyes, I almost felt like I was there when this historic event took place. It confirmed my new found perspective of “seeing is believing”. You tend to appreciate history better by associating yourself with it.
One of the most important things the Pledge of Allegiance means to me, is that all Americans will be shown justice, and fight for it. We will be treated equally, and we will have liberty. To many people from other parts of the world, the United States of America is the perfect country, mainly because the citizens have freedoms and are shown justice. The Pledge of Allegiance is important, and it sums up what the U.S.A. is all about. What the Pledge of Allegiance says makes a proud American, and it should be the same for
It means a great deal to be American. Even though sometimes you still have to deal with nonsense that occurred many decades ago. When I hear what immigrants have to encounter to get citizenship, it makes me feel blessed to have citizenship. It’s like have freedom to be where you want when you want. You can do anything that makes you happen at least legally.
For different reasons, they are sure that things are better in this country. Immigrants feel that America is the best place to go and provides them with more freedom and benefits. In the
