There is always a need to improve healthcare organizations patient satisfaction as well as improving health outcomes. These improvements are the focus of management and it is the goal of management to assemble various employees within the organization to accomplish these goals. Organizations must have the personnel with the ability and insight to integrate a system that will provide distinct contributions such as a safer and effective healthcare environment (Lamb, Zimring, Chuzi, & Dutcher, July). This paper will address the foundational frameworks of QI, the various stakeholders’ definition of quality, the various roles of clinicians and patients in QI.
This means that the agencies identify needs and improvement areas pertaining to the care of the patient to ensure standards throughout all hospitals and health care facilities.
