Being a part of drill team has helped me with control by helping others in learning routines or chants with taking charge when others do not. I learned that although I am young, I am in control of my own progress, and I am the one who can change situations for better or for worse. The biggest impact my drill team experience has given me, is determination to push myself to achieve. Without the heart or skill to do something there is no progression. This experience describes the dedication I have to go to college because it showed me I am capable of handling the challenges it may offer.
Help 1. My family is a great help to me especially my daughters father he is very supportive towards my career goals. He understands how important it is for me to graduate and he does what he can to ensure I am able to get to class as well as study after class. 2. While I do look to depend on my daughters father for time to be able to get things done.
I believe that those values lead me to pursue my goals. I hope one day, in the near future I would be able to pay my parents back for helping me out when I needed them the most. Informal values are so important in life that they help you define social groups. For example; I found somebody with the same values as mine and married him because I believe we both have the same dreams in seeking to reach the same type of goals. Jenny Graves: The lack of dedication among the teacher’s I had growing up. To them it was just another job and I wanted more for those learning.
Raymond’s Conviction As I woke up to the sun shining in my face on a beautiful Friday, I was ready to enjoy the wonderful summer weather that North Charleston had to offer. My daily routine consisted of taking a shower, lunch, and playing outside. Mama worked twelve hour shifts so she had already left for work at about 6:15 a.m. I was always in the house alone, but never once felt neglected or took advantage of my twelve hours of freedom. All of my siblings were older than me and moved out of mama’s house so I almost felt like an only child.
This job has helped me build relationships on a personal and professional level. Being given the opportunity to work at Appletree has been a pleasure one of the reasons being, that my boss takes really good care of all her employees by providing benefits and paid vacation. In the future when I have my own daycare, I will take everything that I have learned and make sure that I apply it to everything that I do in my own daycare. I will also make sure that I take really good care of my employees to make sure that they feel appreciated so they will stay around longer. Most daycare’s have a huge turnover rate because the employees don't feel appreciated and feel like they are being under-paid for the work that they provide which is another reason why Appletree is not a typical daycare because their employees get treated so

Over time, I have found it to be very important in my day-to-day life. It helps me lay a foundation down of tradition, custom and family values.
