Goals Goals 1. My first goal is to graduate from Hostos Community College with a minimum of a 3.5 GPA by December 2012. And be enrolled in a four year school by January 2013. 2. My second goal is to graduate from the four year school with a minimum 3.5 GPA by two years after enrolling (possibly May 2015). If not sooner. 3. My third goal is to be in a financial situation than the one I am in today with in 5years of from my graduation from Hostos C.C. Also to continue to strive for the best. I always try my best to get the best for me and my family and I hope that strive that I have never goes away. OBSTACLES 1. One obstacle I might run into is employment. I am currently employed and sometimes the need to generate hours for a decent check over powers the need to be in school or home studying for an upcoming exam. 2. Another important obstacle might be the fact that I have a child.…show more content…
Not being aware of necessary graduation requirements are another, while this is not my first time in college this is my first semester at Hostos and it is difficult to understand what is necessary for graduation and what is not. 4. As crazy as it sounds sometimes I am unsure about what I would like to be doing in 5 years that will be my career for the remainder of my life. So I am constantly weighing out my options in the career I am pursing versus other careers that might seem interesting to me for the moment. Help 1. My family is a great help to me especially my daughters father he is very supportive towards my career goals. He understands how important it is for me to graduate and he does what he can to ensure I am able to get to class as well as study after class. 2. While I do look to depend on my daughters father for time to be able to get things done. Essentially it is all up to me I need to be willing to get up to get to class as well as willing to do whatever is necessary to pass and not with just a passing grade but a grade I can be proud of.
