Many cultures and nationalities have blended into a global melting pot. Today’s world is all about diversity. Different values encompasses race, gender, age, personality, education, and more. The role of values and ethical criteria’s of decision making is increasingly becoming relevant in business today. The William Institute Ethics Awareness Inventory self-assessment is a tool that everyone can benefit from. Ethics and values are essential to any organization. An organization should have a clear vision of core values to consistently be striving too. These values should include integrity, professionalism, caring, teamwork and leadership. These qualities will lead into the behavior of an organization. The culture of an organization can mean the rise or fall of any business. “Organization cultures are the values, customs, rituals, attitudes, and norms shared by members of an organization, which have to be learnt and accepted by new members of the organization” (A Dictionary of Business and Management, 2009). The culture of Kudler Foods is one of commitment, pride and hard work that pull together the employees to provide the best service to their customers. To achieve this level of excellence is by having good and strong character to engage in the process of leadership. These directors need to show drive, energy, determination, self discipline, and willpower. They have to match the intensity that Kathy Kudler displays. Kudler Fine Foods needs leaders with both strong and good characteristics to guide their employees to the future and show that they can be trusted (Clark, 1997). Between Kathy Kudler and her directors the pace will be set by their actions. This type of behavior will win the trust, loyalty, and ensures the organizations continued success (Clark, 1997).
