Even a pro-choice individual’s views quickly change toward abortion and exactly how legally available it should be when the same woman gets pregnant and aborts her child more than once. These types of advances all seem to be a good idea but they all have complications and loopholes which those of our modern society will take advantage of. If only the world could be perfect, then women would not have to rely on others to help them accomplish something that should come naturally. If only all surrogate mothers were respectful, and follow through with an agreement, then there could be accommodating alternatives for those less
If abortions are illegalized, they could potentially kill more than they intend to save. I believe abortions will remain an issue for many years to come. We can, however, prevent the problem where it starts. Those against and for abortion can agree that maybe middle and high schools should implement sex education classes. The classes will teach teenagers about having safe sex and the consequences that arise when one does not take all precautions necessary.
If a woman has to travel to another country to have a legal abortion, she will do so, and she will have to pay more money. She will now not only have to pay for the abortion itself, but also the traveling cost. Not all people can afford these costs. So by keeping abortion legal and clinics open more women will have the chance to exercise their right and have their desired abortion. If a working woman or student suddenly has to leave the country to have an abortion, this means she will have to think of excuses and lies for an explanation.
In today’s world, abortion is a very controversial topic that has caused many disagreements within society. Abortion has been legal for almost forty years now but people still protest and oppose this law. Abortion was made legal to give women the right that they deserve. As citizens of the United States, women are given many rights and freedoms just like everyone else and one these should be the freedom to have an abortion. Many people believe it is cruel, merciless, and inhumane, but every woman should have the choice and right to have an abortion if she pleases.
If those abortions had not taken place, close to 100,000 couples would have received the gift of a child and many babies would have been able to live. - Not only is adoption good for those who want to adopt, but it also provides the biological mother with the choice of keeping in touch with her child and watching them grow or remain completely confidential; a choice they would not have had if they were to kill their unborn child - Unfortunately, people ignore the possibility of adoption and choose abortion instead. - Abortion is not only selfish towards those who can’t conceive but it is also murder and inhumane - Although women can have an abortion anytime during their pregnancy in Canada, they most commonly take place between weeks 4 and 8 of the pregnancy - Before I continue, I’d like to go through a timeline of the pregnancy - Within 4 – 5 weeks heart beat is developed brain is somewhat developed (nerves are visible) - 8 weeks Bones are starting to form
Pro Choice A topic that is very controversial in today’s American society is whether or not abortions and stem cell research should be legal or not. There are more facts that prove these topics should be legal. The 9th Amendment states the American’s right of pro choice. Abortion should be kept legal because there are many reasons why the mother should not have the baby. Also because abortions are legal then stem cell research should be made legal because if a fetus is already killed then it can still be put to good scientific research and possibly help another human being.
People are not merely a means to an end, but ends themselves. A woman treated as an incubator of a fetus by the law is simply a means to an end, therefore disregarded as a person. There are many misconceptions about abortion. These misconceptions can potentially lead to the loss of women's individual and necessary rights to choose for themselves whether or not they want to bear a child. Most of these common misconceptions can not only be easily identified, but also utterly refuted.
Many parents have trouble on deciding when to talk to their kids about birth control or just taking them to go get birth control. Parents have the decision on whether or not you support their teens on having sex by giving them birth control. Many parents face the fact that their child may get pregnant or get someone pregnant if they are sexually active. So, the problem is do parents give the child birth control or is it supporting their child to be sexually active? An unexpected pregnancy as a teen can be a devastating occurrence.
Here we are in this so-called world of freedom but when we exercise that freedom, we become ridiculed for making a choice. I would rather end a pregnancy instead of bringing a child into a world that they are forced to struggle and go without ; to make a child suffer is a far worse act then dissolving the birth of an unborn/ undeveloped fetus. In Roe v. Wade, a landmark Supreme Court decision in 1973, stated that a woman and her doctor may freely decide to abort a pregnancy during the first trimester, state governments can restrict abortion access after the first trimester with laws intended to protect the woman's health, and abortion after fetal viability must be available if the woman's health or life are at risk. Abortion was allowed in the United States of America
This will be beneficial for society to reduce the crime rate. However, our society changes so quickly, thus yielding questions that unchanged laws could reflect the our real society that is rapidly changing and help people who need help of laws. First of all, new technologies have made our life styles changed. Rigid laws could not directly apply to the real life in some cases. Hundred years ago, women who are pregnant do not have their choice.
