I can honestly say that the teacher in the classroom did a great job with her students and I will be walking away with a bunch of awesome strategies and resources to take back to my own classroom to help with teaching reading and language arts. During this journey and through all of my observations, the teacher and myself had the same goal in mind and that was to make sure that we were educating the students to the
As a teacher you groom and mold your students always teaching them new criteria they need to know for their future. That is why as an educator I want to continue my own enlightenment by obtaining a Master’s degree. By becoming a principal it enables me to become a lifelong learner by observing great teachers, support disenfranchised students by being the constant figure at the school as kids move from class to class or from district to district but most of all I would get the opportunity to watch the students grow over their entire school grade career, not only physically but mentally and
I will encourage students to get the most from their education and foster high standards of behaviour while making students’ time at the school a positive and enjoyable one. I am aware of the expectations placed on driving high academic achievements and behaviour and I am prepared to volunteer my time to become involved in activities which will develop NCHS School, helping to construct an even more successful community inside the school. I am eager to assume a pastoral role alongside my teaching duties, to shape the pupils experience of learning as a whole. I have successfully communicated with parents and carers of students to guarantee their support when dealing with challenging behaviour and also in congratulating students who have exceeded
As a cheerleader , the word “leadership” takes on a whole new meaning. In the classroom and the community as well is a vital component of your role. I was always in the public eye, and it was so important to represent my school to the best of my ability.Leadership is the process of influencing your team members to work hard towards, and be committed to, team goals. To me i was a good leader, i would take part in helping out my teammates to attain the goals they set for themselves everyday.Being a good leader is an major part of being a cheerleader . My interpersonal skills have all been sharpened because of this endeavor. As a leader, I also have a better understanding for using the strengths of those willing to help and I’ve learned of the necessity of listening to others. I feel that a cheerleader should be able to influence others with a strong school spirit as well as address any emotional needs in case problems may occur within the team. Education is also very important; I participate on our school UIL team for Journalism and in my community as part of the Youth and Gospel choirs. I want to be a positive role model to all the young children in our community, and show them that if you set your mind to do it you can achieve anything with hard work and dedication.

These courses allowed me to be taught by actual elementary school teachers, who have years of experience with working with children, and the knowledge and advice they were able to pass on truly helped me better understand what I was signing up for as an education major, and helped my improve the way I teach so that I could articulate in a way that would be comprehensible to students of a young age. These classes are slowly molding me to become a great teacher. Also, I am doubling majoring in psychology in hopes that it will help me to better understand the mentality of special education students, so that in the future I will be able to teach them in a way that they will be able to grasp.
