Without those papers I would be lost trying to recall what happened. Going through my papers I found I wasn’t very good at reading. At least that’s what I thought at first. I was reading my teachers comments and they all basically stated that I needed to concentrate and I would be fine. The first paper I came across was the results of a pre-reading composite test from kindergarten.
After the test I read the results and decided what I am going to do for my career. I sat down with my family and told them what I want to do, and about my goals. They told me that would be great. We all then started putting things together to see what I need to do to reach my goals. I made sure that I would have help around the house while I am going to school, then my oldest daughter told me that she would be so proud to see me succeed my goal.
It was going to my future. I’m now volunteering at Tempe St. Lukes Hospital and devoting my time not only to marching band, but my career as a Laboratory Medical Technologist. When I Graduate I want to audition for the Marine Corps Band, where they will pay my tuition to Yale where I will study Medical Technology. Hopefully that’s not all. I want to help people who are in desperate need for medical needs, like in Africa.
Summary Response Amadeo Constanzo is the author of “Do You Really Think You Are a Good Writer?” and he believes that if you are in a remedial class English then “instead of wasting time and energy on negative thoughts, use the energy and time to improve your writing” or other skills. Constanzo supports remedial classes because even the best athletes train to be better just like a writer practices to become a better writer. I very much agree with Constanzo because the majors I currently have would eventually deal a lot with presentation documents. I am also in remedial English and I know that it would help me becoming a better writer. Benjamin Franklin once said “If a man empties his purse into his head no one can take it away from him.
As I was growing up, my family always said that I would pursue a medical career. I’ve taken some CPR classes and I even got a CNA certificate. But I came to realize that I really didn’t like messy part of the field. When I say messy I mean, the blood, open wounds, and other things that people consider to be disgusting. Even though the pay is great and benefits are good, I want to pursue a career that I want to do.
I am also president of HOSA (Health Occupation Students of America) club and I strive to be a leader in my class as well as my community. As I prepare for college I want to continue my leadership and excel into the pre-med field so that I can progress further into my career dream. I just need a little financial help along the way. These days college is becoming more difficult to afford. It is turning out to be a challenge to fund a college education.
The textbook ambiguously explained how to complete each grammar exercise, and I was never sure if I was completing the assignment correctly. I believe it would benefit the students more to assign a few grammar exercises each week, and review a limited amount at the beginning of each class, to assure the work is done correctly. I also feel the syllabus needs to be more specific about the “long hand” section of the grammar assignment. The pages are separated by a dash, but not all pages are part of the listed section. Instead of separating individual pages by a dash, the assignment should simply be listed pages 604-649 written out long hand.
My son has Asthma. That is what got me interested in Respiratory Therapy. Throughout the struggles of having a child with asthma I have done research about his illness. That research helped me make the decision that I to someday would like to help people in that field. After many years of working dead end jobs I have come to realize that college was my ticket to a better job doing something I love. College was scary at first like Sedaris I felt like outsider.
Working hard towards something that could change a life is exactly what she is doing. She has her head on straight and is looking forward to helping each and every student one step at a time. The many life lessons she endured has strengthened her, and she is taking that strength and using it for a good cause. h This year, math teacher Angela Munday began plans to re-establish a volunteer mentoring program that faded away years ago, for students at the high school. Munday, who is working to match volunteers with students in need, hopes to kick off the program May 1 so that it can continue through the summer.
