Before 1971, The Indian penal code has been legislated during 1980, the British law declared that induced abortion is to be illegal in the country. Induced abortion should be illegal because women are deliberately killing their child and causing a miscarriage. The women who took abortions were confined for up to seven years and had to pay a fine.

This lack of value for innocent human life is the cause of legalised abortion. 4000 of the weakest and most defenceless are deliberately being killed everyday. The question of “Does the fetus feel pain?” has always seemed outrageous and irrelevant to me. Debating at what point the baby feels pain so that an abortion can be performed is cavalier to say the least. Whether the baby feels pain at that point or not, it is a life that is being destroyed.
Abortion means in the simplest terms killing an innocent child. Sometimes people remember that abortion severely mutilated the mother of the child physically, mentally, and spiritually. After all, abortion is just saying that someone with a well-deserving life should just be killed just because they are not wanted. Since the odds are not in our favor, can we deprive someone the chance to live? Having an abortion done always carries the risk of not being able to become pregnant ever again in life.
