And these are attacks that people will forever remember. They were invasive and lethal and the mission that they were going for went all the way through. Because it made the people panic and made them lose their trust to be in the society and with their government. 9/11 was a terrorist
This legislation was introduced in a rapid fashion following the attack of 9/11. Because of this, it had some points of vagueness and left it open for misinterpretation. Organizations like the ACLU fed on this and released multiple reports demeaning the substance of the Act. In doing this, it introduced fear to the public that their civil liberties were being greatly compromised. In reality, the majority of the legislation is directed towards people suspected of terrorism.

It almost leads us to question Henry’s morals if he is willing to kill infants. Although we assume that Henry is just playing up what will happen because he hasn’t lost control of them yet we have to play with the notion that Henry isn’t on as high of a moral ground as we thought even though it might be a just ground. This speech also uses a lot more detail to describe certain events than the other two speeches. He vividly states, “ the blind and bloody soldier with foul hand defile the locks of your shrill-shrieking daughters:”(34-35). This is very detailed and horrific because he is saying he won’t be able to stop his soldiers from raping the women in the city.
Our nation bowed its head for 2,830 people presumed dead and the 700 bodies found at ground zero and the 189 killed in the Pentagon. After this period of respectful mourning our nation sprung into action as to save the deaths of their loved ones from being in vain. Our nations security was breached on a catastrophic level due to our lack of a superior airport security. Post 9-11 legislation was for the most part based around preventing such an event from ever happening again. Another reason to why America is to blame is after the success of the atomic bomb the members of the Grand Alliance began to see changes in Truman’s behaviour as he started to control the meetings they had and Stalin refused to be bossed around so arguments between Stalin and Truman started, they started. The USSR is to blame for the breakdown of the Grand Alliance for many reasons. One reason is that the USSR wanted to impose big respirations on Germany but America and Great Britain refused as they knew how it would affect Germany and could cause another war. A second reason is that Stalin wanted most of Europe to become communist, Roosevelt and Churchill didn’t agree. After Truman became Americas new President there was a lot of tension at the Potsdam Conference.

Facing this kind of frustration, their choices were not decadence, depression, but resistance. They disbelieved their government, hated the Vietnam War, but they were still patriotic. Although the Counterculture Movement had many negative factors, such as decadent, crackers, vulgar and mysterious, which caused a bad effect on the youth, behind the decadent lifestyle, they had the motivated and raging dreams.

Apart from occasional reliability issues, increasing costs and sub-standard accommodation, people now have another frustration to deal with while using air transport. This frustration presents itself in the form of airport security. Because of some devastating and frightening past events, most notably the events of September 11, security during and before air travel has become a major issue worldwide. Recent debates and news concerning air travel has created a deep-seated fear of this mode of transport, and more and more people are being made aware of the consequences of having firm airport security.
Up until the bombing in Boston I felt that the US and its people had healed significantly from the tragic events of 2001. It would appear that is not the case. Listening to the news, friends and co-workers has really opened my eyes to how skeptical and truly afraid we still are of more attacks on our soil against our people. I feel as though the scab has just been ripped of a fresh wound rather than one that is more than 10 years old. This is really striking to me as a kind of barometer of where we, as a country are.
