Associate Level Material Appendix A Communication Styles Worksheet You spent the past few days exploring the resources available to students at University of Phoenix, and you want to share what you learned with a friend who is interested in enrolling. Write a 150- to 200-word e-mail to your friend summarizing the resources available to students. Hello Friend, I’m typing you up a letter to inform you about the available resources to students here at University of Phoenix. First I want to start with the University Library. It’s very useful for an assignment.
Some being more valid than others, initially I didn’t look into any specific one I just bookmarked all the ones that I had found while using google. Next I went on to a more old fashioned research technique and decided to take a field trip to the library. Using the online search the library provides us with I found several books having to do with both Guatemala and the United states during the time of the coup d’ etat. I started looking for the books in the library and came across many that were useless to me and many that had tons of facts that I knew would be amazing towards the research. Then as I usually do I stopped working on the project and procrastinated to the last moment possible.
Also, some regional libraries will have the specific information you are looking for compared to the other ones. As stated before, online research databases will provide you information that might not be available in the bookshelf at one of the Ohio State libraries. Online databases aren’t only limited to books and articles, they also have peer reviewed journals, Google Scholar, and many other research databases to search from. Finally, a new tool that is a great resource is OhioLINK. Ohio State University Libraries participate with a large group of other college libraries and the State Library of Ohio provide researchers like Casey the information he
I have gone in deep understanding while I have read different articles on the Net. As an international student I have found Goggle and other Net search engines as the best tool to success in my classes. If I have the hard time understanding different words or articles from my classes I have the online friends of Ask.com to help me out and millions of articles to gain a deeper understanding. The commercial about the lady who was asking about a solution about her back pain is a typical example of web searching. I know that when we type different question or key words in our search engines a millions of other things pop out.

Motivated to earn a degree, I did not let that stop me from achieving my dreams. I came prepared and eager to learn in my class every day. After one month, my high school counselor told me great news, “Based on your translated transcript, you have course credits more than we require, and based on your current grades, you performed well. You are ready to be in the senior level.” Given the opportunity, I did not waste my time lingering around. I asked one of my teachers where she graduated and she said proudly, “University of Michigan”.
I have heard that you truly find yourself in college, and I am already beginning to do so. I have experienced so much and have already made friendships that I know will certainly last a lifetime. I have learned a great amount in this short time. The transfer from high school to college is a challenging one. Academically, I have went from learning set in stone facts and events, to a more critical thinking type of learning; how and why things happen the way they do.
I prefer to use an audio recorder in some of my classes to ensure that all the information I need is recorded. In math class, I volunteer to write example problems on the board to get the hands on effect. Since I have discovered my learning style, I know that there are
I have made many friends including Cadet/Private Sommermeyer and Cadet/Private Tatum. These many friends extend beyond the JROTC classroom and will no doubt be there when I most need them to be. Another thing ROTC is good for is community service hours. My counselor has already given me a community service worksheet to fill out whenever I do something and she says it will help me get into a much better college and will also look good on my Job/college application. JROTC also inspires me to work hard in school and out of school.
