After several years of applying to several cities and towns in Arizona and passing their rather rigorous testing process, it was the Town of Prescott Valley that recognized my passion for the position as placed me at the top of their eligibility list. My internship position was vastly different from most in this field in that I did not intern in a crime lab, assist in police records or even work on closed cases.
