Do they watch Bella and wish that they too could be swept off their feet by a handsome, broody, vampire? Do they see the young vampire, Edward, his affection and an obsession with Bella as a romantic ideal, a model for all relationships? Many feminists would disagree, saying that this model is not what we want for our young woman to look to in a relationship.
