You might have heard of Daytona International Speedway, home to the “all time greatest race of them all”: The Daytona 500. It is Nascar’s most important race of the season and is also the first major race of the year for the drivers. It will be held on February 17 on fox Sports at 3:30pm if you are interested. Another important race is the Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speed Way. The start/finish line is made of checkered dark and light bricks, instead of the checkered black and white line.
American professional boxer Floyd Mayweather was born on Feb. 24, 1977 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He three national Golden Gloves and a bronze medal in the 1996 Olympics. He became a professional boxer in 1996. By 2007, he was considered the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world and had 38 undefeated bouts. He retired in 2008, but returned to the ring in September 2009.
Chevrolet, now just Chevy is a brand with a remarkable history. It all began in 1911, by an investor named William Durant. With one-hundred years of innovation and history Chevy is now imbedded in a lot of Americans lives. Going through battles with some of the toughest car brands including Ford and Toyota, Chevy still has come out on top. Americans comparing it to hot dogs and apple pie go unchallenged by anyone yet.

He got his first taste of racing while he watched his father Ralph Earnhardt in his earlier years of racing as a short-track racer in kannapolis, North Carolina a small town outside of Charlotte. It was only natural for little boys to want to take after Ralph Earnhardt while his racing carreer was going on, but it was true for Dale Earnhardt. His father Raplh Earnhardt was a natraul born racer as he regularly participated in a stock car racing events held all over the southeast. The more Earnhardt watched his father win races, the more it fueled his aspiration.
