According to my own experiences, cultural relativism is simply explained when we stand in other’s shoes to observe, to feel, to understand and to evaluate the situation which happens to them. Because no such things are right or wrong since what is considered moral in one society may be considered immoral in another, without understanding of unfamiliar values and norms will make it impossible to understand why people behave as they do. All cultures are worthy and equally valued and the truth is better viewed as variable than absolute when we apply cultural relativism into reality. As a matter of fact, to be able to not judging others’ culture is required a lot of knowledge and experiences. Learn how to listen and ask before giving out any verdict about things we do not understand as they are. We can learn by several ways like reading books, watching television, talking with our parents, grandparents and old people. After having the foundation, we use it as our luggage to travel the world. Travelling is also a good way to really put our hands on the real experiences rather than just observing through vision or hearing. Travelling, opening our mind, sharing and building new relationships all over the world is the key to open all the myths behind others’ culture. A community is where the members in it somehow share
