To Be Lazy or Not To Be 1Laziness is a part of human nature. 2Humans are programmed to need “a break” every once in a while. 3Some people convince themselves that they need more breaks than others. 4Excessive laziness is a learned thing. 5A child that has lazy parents could learn to be lazy from the example that has been set for them. 6Laziness is the equality of idleness. 7In theory, someone that works offshore, for instance, could be considered lazy if he does not occupy his time while he is home. 8Laziness is not a bad thing. 9Excessive laziness is where one comes into a problem. 10Occasional laziness is quite alright. 11It gives the body time to recuperate and relax. 12Occasional laziness gives the mind time to reboot and prepare for upcoming events. 13It also aids in keeping humans from getting burnt out on the daily hustle and bustle of life. 14Excessive laziness can obliterate any work ethic that was present to begin with. 15Excessive laziness becomes a lifestyle. 16People who engage in this mindset seem to be more mellow and easygoing. 17People who are not lazy probably have more medical problems due to stress on their body. 18Laziness allows for time to think about things, possibly making lazy people better problem solvers. 19Being lazy and having time to kick back and assess life could lead to a more happy life. 20Laziness could attribute to better health, peace of mind, and better attitudes. 21Laziness, however, also brings about procrastination. 22Lazy people might think, “If I take a nap now, I will be in a better state of mind to write my paper.” 23They wake up and are too sleepy to think clearly while writing an essay. 24Procrastination leads to stress which contradicts what was said above. 25There is an up and down to everything. 26The up is that if a person learns to manage time while still being lazy, that’s great. 27However, a down is that
