THE STORY OF TOM BRENNAN Prologue In the book Chapter 1 In the book Chapter 2 1. They are upset as the grandmother house is dull and a boring place to be with nothing to do. 2. Tom is unenthusiastic as he is thinking too much about his brother and everywhere he looks his name appears and reminds him of the memories they had. 3. Tom’s mother’s behavior includes depressed, quiet and sad and keeps to herself. 4. The relationship between Kylie and Tom is a friendship or are close and they talk with each other quiet frequently when one of them has a concern. Chapter 3 1. Tom’s approach is that he is very nervous at starting at the new school. 2. Kylie’s attitude contrasted to Toms as she is nervous but puts on a tough face. 3. He was cautious as he did not want to be treated differently or to be view differently. 4. Some destructive qualities include black moods, rages and of sulking. “ Black moods that went on and on, rages over nothing followed by long periods of sulking” 5.
