“The Manchurian Candidate” “The Manchurian Candidate” is a wonderful movie to watch. From my recent viewing, the plot unravels itself throughout the duration of the movie, keeping our suspense at its peak. It gives an insight on how difficult and how persevered the candidates of our times are, and how strong willed they are. Excluding the sadistic senator determined to make her son president, it overall details how self-conscious it is for candidates to persist and succeed in their careers. This greatly relates to psychology in multiple ways. Firstly, it depicts the affects of hypnosis, which is being “activated” by a command that has been programmed mentally. The correct setting along with the mysterious plot will entice anyone to watch this. I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a great thriller
