Clarisse grows on Montag and he enjoys seeing her, but once he gets used to seeing her, she is nowhere to be seen. Some time later, Montag and the fire crew encounter a house owned by an old woman overwhelmed with illegal books. They check the attic and piles of books erupt from it. Montag keeps a falling book before any of the other firemen notice. The old woman doesn’t want to exit the house and her books so she lights a match and sets
Later Cal’s wardrobe is changed by Jacob and he is taught all the tricks of seducing women. Cal starts dating and in his first date he meets with Kate (Marisa Tomei) who refuses his advance but later agrees to sleep with him in his apartment (Scott 2011). As days go by Cal manages to sleep with more women, but still not happy with the way his family is falling apart. Later Cal meets his wife Emily at a parents teachers conference where his son Robbie. As Emily starts out with David, Jacob goes with Hannah and avoids Cal most of the time.
The ninth picture in this page is of rain because Clarisse likes to dance around in it and tilted her head up to taste it which seems weird to the people of Montag’s society because they would not normally do this. Foster Mcfee is a 12 year old girl from Memphis. She is obsessed with baking all types of cupcakes to cakes. She was living a normal life baking and watching her mom perform as a backstage singer with her boyfriend Huck also called as Elvis at least he thought of himself as one. Well one night everything changes when they hear the window crash this is after her mom and Huck have a breakup and he is really mad so he breaks in and tries to talk to Rayka, Fosters mom and he ends up hitting her in the eye so Foster and Rayka run as fast as they could away from Huck trying to find any safe place away from him and his violence. They end up in a small town in Virginia called Culpepper where they find nice people that help them and soon Foster starts
Montag, at first, is confused by the question, replying with “Am I what?” He then proceeds to his house, reassuring himself that he is indeed happy and there was no question about it. As he keeps seeing Clarisse for quite a bit of time, after his wife's attempted suicide, his view on his happiness begins to alter. He begins to view the world as a bewildering place, where people were doing strange things for unexplainable reasons. When the old woman in the house the firemen were supposed to burn down didn't leave, Montag tried to persuade her to go; that books weren't as important as staying alive. The woman, refusing, lit her house along with herself on fire.
At the beginning of the novel, Montag thinks that their relationship is just fine; in fact, he declares to himself that he is perfectly happy. However, when he gets home that first night, to find Mildred comatose after a suicide attempt, then he starts to wonder if he and Mildred really are happy. Then, when Clarisse pulls the dandelion "you're not in love with anyone" stunt, he is even more startled. He realizes that he can't even remember when he and Mildred first met. He realizes that they don't really have a relationship at all--he goes to work, she watches her television, and they don't talk.
Yunior's knowledge is revealed in small flashback vignettes that interrupt the party scenes. He remembers his father taking him to the "other woman's" home, where, after Yunior has vomited in the van, the other woman cleans him and treats him affectionately. She then disappears upstairs with his father for an hour, during which time Yunior sits, "ashamed, expecting something big and fiery to crash down on our heads" (36). Near the beginning of the film where she is just a naïve child who is in fear of Boo, she has heard that he is a ‘A malevolent phantom’ who is ‘chained to the bed’ as well as many other nasty rumours about him. Scout, Dil and Jem often run past his house to tease him. But when gifts start appearing for Boo Scout starts to stop believing that he is a horrible monster but just a nice man. Her most important experience that leads her to an understanding about prejudice and the world was her ‘longest night’ which began as they left the school hall to go home with Scout still in her ham suit. They began to sense that someone was following them.
The grandmother then brings up the topic after noting an article about an escaped convict called “The Misfit” who was heading in the same destination, which was Florida. After all of the disagreements about not wanting to go to Florida, the family still insisted that they were going and nothing will deter them from going. The very next morning the family sets on the long-awaited trip to Florida. The grandmother hides her cat (Pitty Sing) into a basket in the back of the car—she had this notion that she couldn’t “bear” to leave her cat at home while they are on vacation. Also, she wore a dress and a hat with flower designs so people can discern that she is “a lady” if there is any accident that might ensue.
