Living in small towns may have an impact on how adults view the world. People that live there are generally more content and enjoy a more calm way of living. Being in a calm, noise-free environment brings peace and well-being to its residents; therefore, small town living has people enjoying a more relaxed and happier lifestyle. When living in small towns, people experience a healthier lifestyle. Generally, people who live in small towns possess their own farms. Organic farmers grow their own fruits and vegetables without adding any artificial chemicals which gives them the opportunity to enjoy rich, nutrient-filled produce. The organic farmers may also raise cattle, chickens, and pigs on their farms giving them the option to feed the animals hormone-free foods. Because all of this nourishment accessible, farm people enjoy more home-cooked meals. Having a farm is a lot of work; therefore, these people are more active and much more energetic, which leads them to a healthier lifestyle. Feeling safer also comes with the privilege of living in small towns. People can leave their doors unlocked and not be concerned that somebody might try to get inside. The neighbors get to know each other well; therefore, they will look out for their neighbors’ houses just in case something might happen when their owners are not home. Parents can let their children play outside unsupervised and not have to worry about cars passing by at high speeds. All of these features help maintain a safe environment for the people that live there. People that live in small towns are more laid back and down to earth. The peace and quiet that comes from living there helps people feel much more relaxed; they are able to connect with the nature that surrounds them. Because these people are not usually in a rush to get to places, they have a more relaxed way of viewing their surroundings. Relaxation
