1. List the effects of secondhand smoke inhalation in children and adults. Second hand smoke is a toxic that is as dangerous as actually smoking. It can pose a health threat to others especially for the non-smoking society. Conditions such as Heart Disease, Stroke, Lung Disease, Asthma and more. What people do not realize is that smoke attaches to everything it touches clothing, skin, hair, furniture, walls, etc. and once a person has been in contact with that they have been exposed to second hand smoke. 2. Do you feel that smokers should be allowed to smoke anywhere? Why or why not? I feel like smokers should not be allowed to smoke just anywhere. There needs to be designated areas in when non-smokers can avoid the exposure of smoke. Why put other people in danger when they clearly are doing well by not smoking. 3. Should the government be responsible for regulating where smoking is allowed? Why or why not? Yes. I feel like there needs to be a more responsible outcome into where smoking is allowed and where not. I think that educating more people, posting more ads and commercials can help others learn about the safety risks that are involved when exposed to cigarette smoke. 4. Should smokers be prevented from smoking in their own homes or in their cars when children or any other non-smoker is present? Why or why not? I cannot speak for others but I feel like smoking should be an outdoor thing. Keeping non-smokers from smoke exposure would be a good thing. Children when they are small do not know the difference between smoking or not and if they do they are not aware of the health risks and how really bad smoking and secondhand smoke can be. Keeping children safe from harm should be a number 1 safety rule and that should include the exposure of smoke. 5. Where would you allow smoking, and where would you ban it?
