Hello everyone, We all know that every country has its own tradition and culture. Sometimes, traditions can vary from town to town in one country. Today, I am going to talk about the difference in my country’s traditions and cultures. First of all, let me introduce you my country, Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia is located in the Arabian Peninsula which is the heart of the Middle East as it shows in the power point. The capital city of my country is Riyadh which is located in the central of my country. Saudi Arabia is the largest country in the Middle East. It is bordered by eight countries, Jordan, Iraq on the north. Kuwait, Qatar and Bahrain on the northeast and United Arab Emirates on the East. Oman and Yemen on the south. And finally, it bordered by Arabian Gulf on the east and the Red Sea on the Westside. Now, I am going to talk about my main points which the difference in culture and traditions inside my country. First of all, I would like to explain to you about the South region where it is located nearby Yemen and Oman. South region is a well known by its mild climate weather, it is always nice and a little bit chilly in the whole year because it is a mountain area. Most of tourists around the world like to visit it. There are many major cities in the south like Abha, Asir, Baha and Jazan and here are some pictures of the cities. Now I will talk about their clothing tradition. Women used to wear it without any Abaya (the black over dress for ladies in Saudi) and they wear it with a very large hat to protect them from the sun while doing their garden work, some women still wear it, it is so beautiful and so colorful. Women like to wear Hena in all events. The richer ladies tend to wear the famous silver belt. The men wear fleece cloaks over the traditional Saudi thobe with belt.
